A newly released police video captures Tiger Woods failing his sobriety test and questioning his DUI arrest, all while fighting a nasty case of the hiccups.
The footage – which was one of several new videos released from the day of the golf great’s rollover crash and arrest in Jupiter Hills, Florida, last week – begins with an officer asking Woods to remove his hat and sunglasses.
After leaning on the front of the officer’s SUV, Woods began answering several questions, including whether he had been drinking earlier in the day and if he takes any medication.
Although the five-time Masters champ responded that he hadn’t been drinking, he did confirm that he is on medication and began listing off all his prescriptions.
Moments later, Woods is seen trying to complete a series of field sobriety tests, including following the officer’s moving pen without turning his head and bringing his closed fists to his chest while counting up with his eyes closed.
But the troubled golfer appeared to fail the sobriety tests, because the officer ultimately asked Woods to stand up from her SUV and turn around so she could place him in handcuffs.
“At this time, I do believe your normal faculties are impaired,” the officer told him. “At this time, you are under arrest for DUI.”
“You’re gonna arrest me?” Woods asked before letting out a hiccup.
“Yessir,” the officer answered as the handcuffs locked into place.
A rep for Woods did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Additional videos from the day of the PGA legend’s crash and subsequent arrest captured the aftermath of the scary incident.
Bodycam footage from immediately after the crash showed Woods crouching down on the side of the road in sunglasses and a backwards hat as he was questioned by police.
“Looked down at my phone and then all of a sudden, boom,” he told the responding officers.
The police proceeded to pat Woods down for any potential injuries before walking over to inspect the golfer’s Land Rover, which was flipped on its side in the middle of the road.
“Who hit him?” one officer asked the driver of the other vehicle involved in the scary crash.
“He hit me,” the other driver responded while pointing at Woods’ flipped Land Rover.
