Hate frequent hair color appointments? Let’s get to the root of the issue.
When L’Oréal Paris introduced its Colorsonic Hair Color Device in 2024, it immediately caught several stars’ attention. And right now, at Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, the innovative gadget is finally 35% off, bringing the price down to well under $100.
“It is life-changing, game-changing, all of it,” Eva Longoria said at the CES tech conference in 2023, where she helped introduce the device.
“The color mixes itself, and all I have to do is brush it on; it is so easy,” she added of the “amazing” tool, which can be used for all-over color or simply touching up roots. (“It’s not lockdown anymore, but I still color my hair at home,” the A-list actress explained.)
The Colorsonic’s bristles can reach 20,000 strands per minute, and L’Oréal claims it makes applying permanent hair dye “as easy as brushing your hair.” The brand offers 16 different color cartridges, all of which are also discounted right now.
Bethenny Frankel’s a Colorsonic devotee, too, as she was “freaking out” at how well it dyed her roots in a partnered Instagram video last year.
“This is the same quality hair color as a salon, so if you get the hang of this, you’re good for life — in the privacy of your own home,” she raved.
The at-home beauty hack is hardly the only L’Oréal Paris product on major markdown right now, as we also spotted a sale on the brand’s Magic Root Cover Up Spray. While it provides a more temporary fix than the Colorsonic, the $8 product also has several celebrities’ stamps of approval — including Frankel, who’s called it her “secret weapon.”
Plus, score savings on drugstore makeup staples like the True Match Lumi Glotion and Plump Ambition Hyaluron Lip Oil — more of the “Just B” host’s favorites. (She shouted out the latter product in another sponsored clip in 2025, raving, “If you said they were $60, I would believe you.”)
