Love Island USA alum Alana Paolucci announced her engagement nearly five years after her post-show breakup.
The reality TV personality took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal that her boyfriend Sebastian Sartor proposed to her during a romantic trip to Paris.
She posted photos of her showing off the sparkling diamond ring while she and her now-fiancé posed in front of the Eiffel Tower.
Paolucci, who will be turning 33 on March 23, was enjoying an early couple’s getaway to celebrate the occasion and wrote in the caption of her engagement announcement post: ‘best birthday trip ever.’
Paolucci previously starred in season three of the hit reality series, coupling up with Charlie Lynch after joining the show as a bombshell.
She partnered up with Lynch upon entering the villa on day 32, and the couple came in fourth place at the end of their time in the villa on day 40.

Less than a month after the show, the pair called it quits, and she went on to date her now-fiancé later that same year.
In August 2021, the same month that the last episode of season three aired on CBS, Paolucci made an appearance on After the Island for a post-show interview, revealing their relationship status.
‘We are not in a relationship,’ she said at the time. ‘We still have a lot to work on as far as communication is concerned. But we’ll play it by ear and see if we can make it work, I guess.’
Paolucci and Lynch later sat down for an interview with Pop Culture, and while reflecting on his time in the villa, Lynch seemingly expressed regrets about coupling up with her.
He said he ‘would be remiss’ if he ‘didn’t still think about’ how things might have been different if he coupled up with fellow contestant Cashay Proudfoot instead.
After hearing his confession, Paolucci responded: ‘I think he just kind of dropped a bomb on me. He never expressed that to me, so I’m processing my emotions.’
The following month, the pair officially called it quits, per Page Six.
Since that season premiered, winners Olivia Kaiser and Korey Gandy as well as runners-up Will Moncada and Kyra Lizama have also broken up, respectively.

She joined the show with just days to go until the finale but struck up a connection with the fellow Love Islander immediately
Just shortly after their final date on the show, however, the pair called it quits. She went on to meet and start dating Sartor shortly thereafter
She met Sartor and started dating him in November 2021.
On their first anniversary, she shared a social media post and gushed about how he made her ‘believe in love again.’
‘One year ago was our first date and we have been inseparable ever since,’ she wrote in the caption of her November 2022 Instagram post.
‘It’s been a year of love, pure joy, laughter, exploration, support and everything I only prayed to find one day. Thank you for making me believe in love again.’
She added: ‘You are my whole heart and one of the most incredible people to walk this earth.’
The following year, she marked their second anniversary with another post and shared the same sentiment.
‘I used to cry because I never thought I would find real love,’ she wrote before referring to herself as the ‘luckiest girl alive.’
