Now, the 39-year-old business owner is opening up about her time on the series.
She took to TikTok after the series premiere on Wednesday to reveal an unusual detail about her dating life – she is a virgin.
‘I was on Netflix to do a show, Age of Attraction,’ she said in a nearly two-minute-long video. ‘I know what you’re thinking right now… wait, we didn’t see you. Sadly, my story was cut.’
‘I’m going to spill a little tea here. I’m 39-years-old, I was 38 when the show filmed and when it comes to my dating life I’ve honestly been single for as long as I can remember,’ she prefaced.
Elsewhere in the recording, she confessed that being a virgin and waiting until marriage to have sex ‘has really affected my dating life.’

She vowed, ‘I’m gonna start to talk about it more, but it’s something that I haven’t really talked about in a really long time outside of my close circle.’
Wottring, who lives in Fishers, Indiana, said it’s a ‘lonely time to be 39 and single’ with no kids.
‘Hopefully it will help people feel like you’re not alone in this phase,’ she told her social media followers.
Her profile describes her content as pertaining to ‘style, skincare & girly things.’
She also explained in her clip that she didn’t apply for the show herself – it was a friend who gave her name to a casting director on her 38th birthday.
Wottring noted, ‘If it was any day other than my birthday, I’m honestly not sure I would have even answered.
‘But once you get to a certain age and you really want to be married and have kids, birthdays can be a little bit tough. That biological clock reminder is like time is ticking and you have to find someone soon.’
Although her story didn’t make it onto Age of Attraction, she said she made two connections she can’t yet discuss in detail, so as not to give any spoilers.

‘I can’t say yet if I’m dating anyone from the show or if I’m still single,’ she told viewers.
The show is hosted by former Bachelor star Nick Viall and wife Natalie Joy, who have an 18-year age gap.

Ahead of the show’s premiere, Wottring shared her official promo portrait from the show and teased on Instagram, ‘So grateful for the experience and that’s all I can say… for now.’
She added, ‘Does age really matter when it comes to love? That’s what we went to find out!’
