Nick Reiner’s attorney, Kimberly Greene, has been the nepo baby’s only visitor in jail as he awaits his trial for the brutal murders of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner.
No one else has visited Nick at Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles, according to the Daily Mail.
Greene took over the high-profile case from Alan Jackson, who quit before Nick’s court hearing in January.
Greene was in court with Nick on Feb. 23 when he pleaded not guilty to the murders.
Former LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva told the outlet that the 32-year-old accused killer is not allowed to interact with other inmates at the Southern California facility.
“Any type of case like this, a high-profile case, causes the department to place the inmate in what’s called administrative segregation, designed to prevent the inmate from being hurt by other inmates,” said Villanueva.
The sheriff also explained that the “suicide gown” that Nick wore to his latest court hearing indicates he’s in “mental observation housing” at Twin Towers.
“They get mandatory checks every 15 minutes at a minimum, 24/7,” Villanueva claimed of Nick and the other “K10” inmates.
“Some have to remain alone at all times because they’re a danger, not only to others, but to themselves too,” he continued. “They want to hurt themselves, or they want to hurt somebody else.”
The mental health jail where Nick is being held without bail previously housed A-listers like Paris Hilton, Harvey Weinstein and Robert Downey Jr.
Beverly Hills Defense Attorney Adam Michael Sacks recently told Page Six that the facility is “disgusting” and all his clients “begged for bail” when he’d visit them.
In addition, The Post found through inspection reports and court filings that the Twin Towers cells have feces on walls, urine on floors and concrete walls covered in graffiti.
California Attorney General Rob Bonta filed a lawsuit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and Correctional Health Services in September regarding the alleged “inhumane” conditions.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department told The Post that $309 million went into upgrades — including hiring more staff, fixing infrastructure and other improvements despite the claims.
Nick entered his plea in a downtown LA courtroom last Monday for his arraignment on two counts of first-degree murder.
He wore a brown jumpsuit and his hands were shackled at the hearing, during which he spoke to Greene through plexiglass.
Nick was arrested after his parents were found stabbed to death in their Brentwood home in December 2025. Rob was 78 and Michele was 70.
The LA County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that the couple died from “multiple sharp force injuries” and ruled their deaths a homicide.
The famous filmmaker’s youngest son struggled with drug addiction for years and was in and out of rehab. The “Being Charlie” writer was diagnosed with schizophrenia before his parents’ deaths.
Nick’s siblings, Romy, 28, and Jake Reiner, 34, have not attended any of Nick’s court hearings since the murders.
His next court appearance is scheduled for April 29.
