Shia LaBeouf poked fun at his battery arrest by dancing with his jail paperwork during Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans.
The “Holes” star flaunted his paperwork to a camera before stuffing it in his mouth and freely moving his arms in the air early Tuesday morning, per footage obtained by WGNO.
LaBeouf, who wore several decorative bead necklaces, appeared to be in good spirits despite being released from jail without posting bond just hours earlier.
The 39-year-old Disney alum was arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery for getting into a bar fight around 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday.
Footage obtained by TMZ showed the actor in the middle of a heated confrontation outside of a bar and smashing his head into another man’s face.
Another clip published by the outlet showed him shirtless with a missing shoe while being tossed to the ground by multiple men.
The New Orleans Police Department told Page Six that LaBeouf was “reportedly causing a disturbance and becoming increasingly aggressive at a Royal Street business.”
“A staff member attempted to eject Mr. LaBeouf from the establishment,” police stated. “Once removed from the building, the victim reported being struck by LaBeouf who used his closed fists on the victim several times.”
The “Transformers” star, who has previously opened up about his sobriety, then allegedly returned, “acting more aggressive[ly],” and “multiple people attempted to hold him down.”
LaBeouf, however, allegedly “struck the same victim” and a second in the nose.
Patrons restrained him until the police arrived at the scene.
The “Fury” star was taken to the hospital to treat his unidentified injuries before going to jail.
LaBeouf’s wild night out comes after he and his wife, Mia Goth, quietly split nearly a year ago, an insider told Page Six.
A source shared that he moved to New Orleans to be closer to family.
The exes, who wed in 2016 and share a 3-year-old daughter, have been in an on-again, off-again relationship over the years.
