Chantelle Houghton has revealed she has got a new boyfriend after two years of celibacy.
The former Big Brother star, 42, who won the show in 2006, was married to singer Preston, 44, for a year after meeting in the show house before embarking on a string of other high-profile relationships.
But now she has sparked a new romance with someone who is not in the public eye, according to The Sun.
She claimed that her relationships being in the public eye ‘put a strain’ on them and that became one of the ‘biggest challenges’.
She told the publication: ‘I think my smile says it all, I have met someone. He’s not in the public eye, but that’s all I’ll say.’
Explaining why she wants to keep the romance under wraps, Chantelle added: ‘I feel like all of my relationships have been public.

‘The two relationships I had before Big Brother were the only ones that were private, but they weren’t really proper relationships because I was so young.’
Her hints of a new man came after she said she had ‘given up’ looking for love in 2024 due to the lack of ‘gentlemen’ in the world.
She told The Sun: ‘It’s been about two years now and without sex I feel empowered, independent and free’.
‘Chivalry appears to be dead, and I’d much rather go through the rest of my life single than settle for someone who makes me miserable’.
Chantelle was also engaged to Katie Price’s ex Alex Reid, with whom she shares daughter Dolly, 13, but ended the relationship after claims he had been unfaithful with other men and turned their home into a sex dungeon in 2011.
Chantelle also dated former Crimewatch host Rav Wilding, before they were pictured having a blazing row after which led to them splitting up in 2012.
Telling The Mirror about the incident at the time: ‘You give six months of your life to someone – you don’t expect this treatment. Everyone could see it was aggressive.’
It is believed that she had been single for many years before this romance.

In March 2025, she explained she hadn’t dated in years and is enjoying a quiet life as a single mum following a string of headline-grabbing romances.
Opening up about her lack of love life, she told OK! magazine: ‘I have no love life! I’ve been single for many, many years now because of the circumstances that I was in.
‘I wasn’t forced, but I was in circumstances looking after my little girl, where I spent a lot of my time alone.
‘And I’m not one of those people to be with someone just for the sake of it. I’ve always said that I’d rather be sitting on the sofa by myself than be sitting on the sofa with someone feeling lonely, because there’s nothing worse than actually being in a relationship and feeling lonely and unhappy.’
Chantelle went on to say that while she’s ‘open’ to meeting someone new, she isn’t actively dating and feels she doesn’t need to be with someone ‘to feel whole’.
