You only turn 30 once – so why not spend tens of thousands of dollars celebrating it?
Tess Shanahan, wife of Bondi Sands multi-millionaire founder Shaun Wilson, heralded her third decade over the weekend with a Victoria’s Secret themed birthday bash that will go down in history for its extravagance.
The event, which took place in Melbourne, boasted an array of custom-built props and decorations emblazoned with ‘Tess’ Secret’ and a ‘TS’ logo inspired by the Victoria’s Secret branding.
Model and podcaster Tess hired a top-tier events company to handle the set-up, while entrusting celebrity hairstylist Gabrielle Roccuzzo and top makeup artist Jade Kisnorbo to ensure she looked just as a preened as a real Victoria’s Secret model.
Upon arrival, guests were ushered onto a huge pink media wall with photographers waiting to capture their lingerie-inspired looks.
Of course Tess sported a silky pink ensemble from Victoria’s Secret, featuring a bra, G-string and short-shorts, paired with thousands of dollars worth of jewellery by Anton Diamonds.

Channelling her inner Victoria’s Secret angel, the birthday girl completed her look with a set extravagant white-and-pink feathered wings.
Among those attending were Booby Tape founders Bianca and Bridgett Roccisano, who both stunned in racy black frocks.
After entering the venue, guests were able to take photos inside an all-pink dressing room reminiscent of those used during the actual Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
Of course, Tess ensured guests were gifted with plenty of merchandise from the brand, including embroidered pink robes and slippers.
A makeup room playfully called ‘Tess’ Angels touch-up station’ was also available for guests to use.
The venue also featured a private balcony area featuring large pink umbrellas, picturesque views and a DJ – with the birthday girl even performing a set behind the decks.
Guests dined on a truly indulgent spread, including sashimi, caviar, dumplings, sliders, salads and oysters.

Tess and Shaun tied the knot in September last year at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.
Aussie accents were ‘everywhere’ at the iconic hotel on Sunset Boulevard as guests arrived for what was described a ‘a three-day extravaganza for the ages’.
The big rumour at the wedding was that Shaun – who co-founded Bondi Sands in 2012 with business partner Blair James and later sold it to Japanese multinational Kao Group for $450million in 2023 – had lavished a million dollars on his big day.
Tess looked stunning in a strapless silk gown which featured a high slit and an elegant veil.
The couple announced their engagement in July 2023, about a month before Bondi Sands and its related companies were sold to the Kao Corporation.
‘30.07.23 – My forever,’ Tess captioned a gallery of photos of the elaborate proposal, which included pictures of her huge diamond ring.
They would go on to welcome their first child together before making it down the aisle: their daughter, Romee Rae Wilson, was born in September 2024.
