His legal battle with Blake Lively isn’t the only thing making waves.
Justin Baldoni was spotted surfing during a birthday trip to Costa Rica as Lively’s lawsuit against him continues to make headlines.
The “It Ends With Us” director appeared to be in high spirits for the beach day with his family on Sunday, a day after his 42nd birthday, according to photos obtained by Page Six.
Baldoni was seen smiling and laughing while joined by his wife, Emily, and their two kids: Maiya Grace, 10, and Maxwell Roland-Samuel, 8.
At one point, Baldoni gave his wife and son a sweet hug as they looked out at the beautiful ocean.
In another moment, the “Jane the Virgin” alum was spotted opening a beverage.
Baldoni spent the day surfing in the salty waves. He was photographed balancing on his surfboard as he skimmed across the currents.
The actor wore geometric-print board shorts and showed off his tanned and toned abs by going completely shirtless.
He also wore two chain necklaces and protected his head with a surf helmet.
Earlier in the day, Baldoni was seen riding a red ATV while wearing a black muscle tee.
Baldoni’s beach day jaunt came just days after an avalanche of text messages was released in unsealed documents from his lawsuit with Lively, who sued him for allegedly sexually harassing her on the set of their movie in 2024.
In one conversation, Baldoni was called a “moron” by a studio executive after he allegedly alluded to rape while promoting the movie.
In another conversation between Lively and Taylor Swift, the singer called Baldoni a “bitch” with a “tiny violin.”
The pop star also told Lively, 38, in a candid exchange that she felt a “shift” in their relationship after the “Gossip Girl” star’s feud with Baldoni came to light.
“It feels awful to be in any way critical of any way you process what you’ve been going through but I just kinda miss my funny, dark, normal-speaking friend who talks to me as herself,” Swift told Lively, who ultimately apologized.
Swift, 36, is allegedly fuming over the leaked texts, with a source telling Us Weekly, “It’s honestly been really hard for Taylor.”
“Having her texts out there made her feel exposed and kind of violated, like, something private suddenly wasn’t hers anymore,” the source said. “That doesn’t sit well with her.”
Lively’s lawsuit is ongoing, while Baldoni’s $400 countersuit accusing her of defamation was dismissed last June.
