It looked as if Kristin Cavallari was going to be in for a chilly night after she revealed on Sunday that her power had been out for hours amid a winter storm battering much of the United States over the weekend.
The 39-year-old reality star shared videos to her Instagram Stories as she trudged through snow and sludge down the driveway of her home near Nashville, Tennessee.
Cavallari showed that she and her children were ready to bunker down after Tennessee joined 22 other states and the District of Columbia in declaring a state of emergency due to the dangerous weather pattern threatening much of the US.
Kristin kicked off her wintry posts with a video of her feet crunching through snow covered with a thin layer of ice.
She had on a pair of fuzzy white boots wrapped with multicolored laces, and she fought the cold with a thick brown wool coat.
‘No power all day and this is about to turn into pure ice with the temp dropping 🥶,’ she captioned the clip.

‘So the driveway — all I can think about is how this is gonna be pure ice,’ she said in her video as she stopped to stamp her feet to crush some of the ice starting to form.
Cavallari broke out into laughter in a follow-up clip in which she almost lost her footing while walking behind her 10-year-old daughter, Saylor.
”Oh my God, I’m literally sliding down!’ she chuckled as she tried not to ski down her sloping driveway, which wound through dense trees.
Then, the Hills star revealed that not only was she without power, but it would be difficult for anyone to come or go due to a large tree branch that had fallen across her driveway.
Cavallari looked puny while standing under a branch that was lodged against a hill on the side of the road with her dogs.
The ice-covered branch threatened to scratch up any vehicle that dared to drive under it, while a smaller — but still sizable — branch had fallen to the road to potentially wreak havoc on a vehicle’s undercarriage.
‘This is me officially canceling my entire week. Thanks,’ Cavallari captioned the post.

‘Getting ready to lose the daylight. Thankful for all the @uncommonjames candles at my house 🤣,’ she wrote.
She had left all of her blinds open to get as much natural light as possible before the cloud-covered sun dipped below the horizon, and she had set up burning candles on her coffee tables and her kitchen’s gray granite-topped island to provide as much light as possible.
‘All right, we’re losing daylight,’ Cavallari said as she updated her 4.9 million followers. ‘Thank God, I own my own candles, and I have a plethora of them to put all over my house. I have three different scents going, ’cause that’s just where we’re at.’

‘I need to start being careful because it’s really, I don’t care at the end of the day what Jax and Camden think about me. It’s my kids. But I can’t be saying stuff that’s gonna affect them and their friends.’
‘I’ll definitely pull back, and I feel like I’ve found this way to kind of say stuff without just saying it.’
The ‘younger guy’ she was referring to is TikTok star Mark Estes, who is 13 years younger than her.
She also touched on her relationship with Estes, stating, ‘It was fun until it wasn’t.’
The two dated for seven months in 2024.
