Staff at the KIIS FM Sydney studio went into meltdown on Friday morning after Kyle Sandilands failed to show up to work following a nasty injury.
Kyle, 54, suffered a fall at home moments before his show went to air at 6am, sparking chaos among his colleagues Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, Brooklyn Ross and ‘Intern Pete’ Deppeler.
‘It’s been like stress and chaos. Everyone’s running around. Something’s happened to Kyle, right?’ Brooklyn asked Jackie.
‘He’s had a fall, and he’s off the show,’ Jackie replied.
It was later revealed that Kyle had ‘fallen over quite bad, naked, running from the shower to get a towel’.
He tripped over open suitcases and son Otto’s toys, telling the team via text that he’s ‘effed my ribs and back and neck and hit my head quite hard on the back of my skull’.

‘I’m now hobbling back to bed. Headache is instant, and I feel embarrassed and in some pain,’ he also said.
‘I feel like I’ve been in a car accident.’
Elsewhere in the lengthy text message, Kyle admitted he was looking forward to the morning’s program, with Pauline Hanson and Anthony Mundine appearing on the show.
Intern Pete then suggested that he should go to Kyle’s home to see if he’s okay.
‘I’m going to go over if that’s OK, this is a morning he probably needs me,’ he said.
But Jackie said they needed him, following Cooper Johns’ departure from the show.
Kyle has faced several health setbacks in recent months.
Last year, the media personality revealed to listeners he had been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.

The revelation prompted an immediate outpouring of support from fans.
‘I was told by my medical team, which sounds like I’m already very sick, that I have a brain aneurysm. It requires immediate attention, brain surgery,’ he said at the time.
‘My doctor said if I didn’t get it checked, I would have died. A life of cocaine abuse and partying are not the way to go!’
He revealed his doctor had banned him from cocaine, masturbation, heavy lifting and stress.
