Ciao, Hudson!
After blazing onto the scene at the Golden Globes, “Heated Rivalry” star Hudson Williams hit Milan Fashion Week — and had the time of his life.
Page Six Style exclusively reported that the Canadian actor, 24, would be making his runway debut at Dsquared2 and, on Friday, Williams strutted his stuff in the Winter Olympics-themed show.
He traded his ice skates for high-fashion snow boots, opening the fashion show and descending the snow-covered stairs in a deconstructed denim jacket embellished with (what else?) Canadian maple leaves.
The entire show was an ode to the forthcoming Winter Games, which will take place in Milan next month.
In the meantime, Williams heated up the streets of the fashion capital. Videos of the young star — who went from virtual unknown to overnight heartthrob thanks to the success of the steamy hockey romance show — went viral on social media, with fans gushing over his swagger.
At the Dsquared2 afterparty, he got down and dirty, lifting up his white tank top to show off his abs while dancing the night away — even hoisting one of the designers on his shoulders at one point.
The star, who plays Canadian hockey star Shane Hollander in the spicy series, dared to smoke nearly everywhere — including backstage at Dsquared2, where he was seen plucking a cigarette straight from the mouth of one of the brand’s designers.
Williams even was caught in a minor snafu as he was scolded for puffing outdoors; Italy enforces a strict no-smoking policy as part of an air quality initiative.
He lamented this on Instagram (with a pic of him lighting up a dart, no less), “I didn’t know it was illegal to smoke in the streets. I’m sorry.”
And while he made a splash down the catwalk, Hudson didn’t stop there.
Spotted arriving at the Armani hotel in a sleek black blazer and later shopping at the brand’s store in a large teddy jacket, he graced the front row; Williams was seen sandwiched between fellow hunks Ricky Martin and Tom Blyth.
Even Martin swooned, posting a duo of selfies from a pre-show dinner with the caption, “Good food, better conversations, excellent seat neighbor,” tagging Hudson.
Though Donatella Versace stepped down from her namesake fashion brand last year, it appears the designer has been using her free time to keep up with her television; Donatella was the very first fashion notable to follow both Williams and his co-star Connor Storrie on social media, and she publicly declared her love for “Heated Rivalry” on Jan. 9.
The noted fan was finally able to meet the Canadian star, posting a slew of photos on Instagram captioned, “Showing @hudsonwilliamsofficial around the Versace cottage 💜✨.”
In one of the pics, he shows off a coveted gift: a baroque Versace robe personalized with his name across the back.
As fans melt down over every look, we’re sure there are more major appearances to come as fashion weeks continue in Paris and New York.
