Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz own the only footage of a wedding reception video that allegedly shows Victoria Beckham dancing “inappropriately” with her son.
Two sources confirmed the existence of the video to Page Six on Tuesday following Brooklyn’s explosive social media statement — in which he accused his parents of alienating his wife and controlling “the narrative” surrounding their feud.
The footage from the April 2022 nuptials “contains footage of Victoria dancing inappropriately with Brooklyn at his wedding,” our source says.
The couple does not plan to release the video, per multiple reports.
According to TMZ, the moment “lasted several minutes” and left guests “unsure how to react.”
Insiders told the outlet that Victoria was allegedly “right up against Brooklyn” and showcasing behavior that was “more fitting for romantic partners than a mother and son.”
The moment left Brooklyn feeling “humiliated,” and he reportedly never wants the public to see it.
The outlet’s sources said the ultra private event included a cell phone ban and non-disclosure agreements.
An exception was allegedly made for the fashion designer, who was said to have been allowed to keep her phone while other guests had theirs confiscated, per TMZ.
Sources told the outlet that footage is now only accessible to the bride and groom, and that a contract required the videography company to sign their own NDA and “wipe all copies.”
Page Six has reached out to reps for Brooklyn, Nicola, and the Beckhams.
A source told Page Six on Tuesday that Marc Anthony, who performed at the celebration, was meant to introduce the couple as they took a specially built stage for their first dance.
“It was meant to be the big romantic first dance,” a wedding insider told us. “It was pre-determined specifically for Nicola and Brooklyn.”
But instead of Peltz taking the stage, Brooklyn’s fashion designer mom allegedly “got up on stage and wrapped her arms around Brooklyn” and “nuzzled into his neck,” according to a guest.
“She was dancing with him very inappropriately,” the guest told us, adding, “She took that moment from Nicola, that is the God’s truth.”
They added that the bride “ran out crying.”
“The Beckhams’ side of the room was cheering and the Peltz side was quiet,” they said. “Nicola’s friends were saying ‘You have to go back down.’ Her face was swollen.”
Peltz was “sad the entire evening” following the incident, which the guest called “heartbreaking.”
Other sources, however, said there was no “hijack” moment and that there was nothing “inappropriate” about the “family dance.”
The source claimed Nicola and Brooklyn had already danced together, as well as Nicola dancing with her father — and that David, Victoria, and Harper joined Brooklyn onstage. “It was a family dance, basically,” they said.
The couple’s lavish Florida wedding sparked rumors of a family feud after the alleged incident, culminating in Brooklyn’s scathing social media statement on Monday.
In it, the photographer accused his designer mother of cancelling “Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour … forcing her to urgently find a new dress.”
He also accused his parents of “performative social media posts, family events, and inauthentic relationships,” and of taking a “completely backwards” narrative that “my wife controls me.”
“My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation,” he wrote. “All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.”
An insider told Page Six on Monday that “a massive breakdown in trust” between Brooklyn and his parents led to a breaking point “last week.”
“They’d had enough,” the source explained. “This ultimately has become a huge power struggle between two powerful families.”
