Teyana Taylor made a style statement in a dress that exposed her diamond-encrusted thong and back tattoos at the star-studded 2026 Golden Globes.
The One Battle After Another actress, who was nominated for Best Supporting Female Actor in a Motion Picture at the event, dazzled in a custom Schiaparelli number featuring a cleavage-baring cutout, glamorous scarf and flowing train.
Perhaps the best part of her outfit was the halter style top that exposed the top half of her back, showing off the ink on her upper back along with an over-the-shoulder drape and a sparkling bow thong accessory at the cut-out near her bottom.
“The crack is covered in diamonds. It’s expensive!” Taylor, 35, told red carpet host Justin Sylvester on E!’s Live from the Red Carpet. Taylor completed her jaw-dropping ensemble with Tiffany jewels.
She opted for a curled hairstyle and dramatic makeup look, rocking blushed cheeks, bold cat-eye liner and mauve lipstick with a sheer pink gloss.
During the interview, Taylor said that her two kids, Rue Rose, 4, and Iman “Junie” Tayla, 9, are always commenting on her style moments. “They are my two biggest fashion critics. But they’re living tonight,” she added.
It certainly was a night to remember for the actress as she took home her first-ever Golden Globe award for her role as Perfidia Beverly Hills in Paul Thomas Anderson’s film One Battle After Another.

Taylor had tough competition with her fellow nominees including Ariana Grande (Wicked: For Good), Emily Blunt (The Smashing Machine), Amy Madigan (Weapons), Elle Fanning (Sentimental Value) and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas (Sentimental Value).
As she got up to the podium to accept her award, she gave a little turn to show off her outfit. “Wait till you see my party in the back,” she told the audience. “I almost didn’t even write a speech. “Oh my babies, my babies are upstairs watching. Y’all better be off them damn phones and watching me right now.”
Taylor continued her speech with a message to her fellow “brown sisters and little brown girls” that were watching the awards show. “Our softness is not a liability. Our death is not that,” she said. “It’s not too much. Our light does not need permission to shine. We belong in every room we walk into. Our voices matter and our dreams deserve space.”
Prior to the event, she spoke about her role and the duality Perfidia had during an interview with Variety on January 3.
Taylor explained, “[Perfidia] makes decisions that we may not all agree with but we can all agree on the fact that she’s unapologetically herself and stands 10 toes down on a lot of things that we probably wouldn’t have been able to do at one point.”
“Especially as a woman, we’re told we’re too confident, we got to tone it down,” she continued. “Here we see this woman. It’s like ‘No, you won’t quiet me. You won’t set me down. I won’t play house with you.’”
Taylor also said she would easily sign on the dotted line for a sequel or spinoff. “[Anderson] could have shot all of it and broken it in two because it’s so much story,” she told the publication. “You could literally merge the other pieces, get a few new scenes with me — and then drop it, drop it like a mixtape!”
