Brooklyn Beckham is reportedly on surprisingly good terms with four family members despite banning his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, from contacting him.
According to the US Sun, Brooklyn, 26, has had phone conversations and exchanged text messages with both sets of his grandparents: David’s parents, Ted Beckham and Sandra Georgina West, and Victoria’s parents, Anthony and Jackie Adams.
“Brooklyn absolutely adores them and knows how much pain this is causing everyone,” a source told the outlet Thursday.
“So he has reached out in his own time but tried to keep it low-key so as not to drag them into it.”
The source added that the social media chef “is navigating this soul-crushing family feud as best he can,” noting that “it isn’t easy on anyone.”
Meanwhile, his wife, Nicola Peltz, reportedly “remains his absolute rock.”
In mid-December, Victoria, 51, “liked” one of Brooklyn’s Instagram videos showing him cooking beer-brined chicken, mashed potatoes and vegetables.
The “like” resulted in commenters begging Brooklyn to reconcile with his mom and dad, but the messages had the opposite effect.
Brooklyn subsequently blocked both the Spice Girls member-turned-fashion designer and the retired soccer star, 50, as well as his 20-year-old brother, Cruz Beckham, who has shaded Brooklyn on Instagram amid the family’s ongoing feud.
Brooklyn went ahead and also blocked his other siblings, 23-year-old brother Romeo Beckham — whose on-again relationship with Brooklyn’s ex Kim Turnbull sparked the fallout last year — and 14-year-old sister Harper Beckham.
Brooklyn blocked his relatives on the platform because he had reportedly told his parents to refrain from engaging with him on social media and communicate with him only via his attorneys.
Per the Daily Mail, Brooklyn got lawyers involved after a series of “nasty” briefings about Peltz, 31, including the suggestion that he was a “hostage” being “controlled” by her.
There is believed to be longstanding tension between Peltz and Victoria, who allegedly “ruined” her April 2022 wedding to Brooklyn by stealing the newlyweds’ special dance during the reception.
The alleged move came after Peltz chose not to wear one of Victoria’s wedding dress designs.
Reps for the Beckhams did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
