Mickey Rourke is reportedly living “paycheck-to-paycheck” as he faces eviction from his Los Angeles home.
“Mickey has lived the life of a rock star with plenty of drug and alcohol abuse over the years,” an insider told the Daily Mail Sunday.
“So, to see him worse for wear in recent pictures without the benefit of Hollywood movie magic, we shouldn’t be surprised that he looks nothing like he used to,” the source added.
The insider told the outlet that the “Wrestler” star’s finances were not in a good place.
“When it comes to his finances, the movies he has been doing don’t pay that much for the life he is used to, it’s almost a paycheck-to-paycheck type deal, where if he was more protective of his finances, he’d be OK,” the source claimed.
“He’s rich poor if that makes sense. He has outlets to make substantial amounts of money by doing films and reality shows, but he spends it so fast that he is at square one right around the time that he starts making money,” the insider told Daily Mail.
Though Rourke, 73, is having financial woes, the source claimed the actor is “confident” he’ll be able to get a deal that will allow him to keep his home.
Page Six has reached out to Rourke’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Last month, court records obtained by The Post showed that the Oscar-nominated actor is facing eviction after allegedly racking up nearly $60,000 in unpaid rent.
Docs showed that Rourke was served with a three-day notice to pay rent or vacate by December 18, 2025, after failing to make monthly payments on his Beverly Grove rental, where the rent reached $7,000 a month.
Then, on New Year’s Day, Page Six obtained photos of the former professional boxer looking unrecognizable as he opened his front door to receive a few food deliveries.
Rourke sported a shaved head as he grabbed a bag of Taco Bell delivery and then two paper bags filled with groceries from Pavilions.
