Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia is looking back on the highs and lows of 2025 with zero filter.
“It’s our last debrief of 2025. Also, all of my debriefs were brought to you by High Noon. Thank f***ing God because they got me through the worst year of my life,” LaPaglia, 26, shared via TikTok on Tuesday, December 30. “I say that loosely and lightly, but I also mean it. I think a lot of people can agree that 2025 — regardless of how it looked from the outside looking in — mental health was a struggle for everyone this year.”
In the past 12 months, the Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test alum said she learned some “really important things” that ultimately “changed my life.”
“I was betrayed by some of the closest people in my life, and it’s a mind f***. Anyone that experiences that knows how much of a mind f*** it is,” she explained without naming names. “When some things happen to us, it feels like we need closure or we’re owed closure, and closure is a word I’m just starting to f***ing hate. We feel like we need an apology, we feel like we need a why, we feel like we need an explanation.”
According to LaPaglia, those people who did bad things or who may be bad people likely aren’t going to say sorry.
If they do, “It is not going to fix. It’s not going to change. It’s not going to put a bandaid on anything, yet we crave it so much. Once I realized this, I knew I was in control of everything.”
LaPaglia — who revealed her PCOS diagnosis and also said farewell to her “BFFs” podcast in November — added that 2026 should be the year you “take care of you.”

“If you don’t have a positive relationship with yourself, everything else in your life is going to crumble,” she said. “Being selfish is actually the least selfish thing you can do because it’s going to make every other part of your life flourish.”
LaPaglia’s TikTok came just one day before news broke that her ex Zach Bryan married Samantha Leonard.
While the country singer may have found love in 2025, LaPaglia chose to focus on her single era.
“I realized this year that I use romantic relationships for the past years to fill some sort of void in myself,” she said. “So what did I do this year? I didn’t even think about having a relationship.”
Instead, she tested herself on season 4 of Special Forces, continued her “PlanBri Uncut” podcast and tried to find the good whenever life took a turn.
“Unfortunately, the past couple of years have made me a pessimist. I think the world sucks and people are bad, but I do realize you have the option to be good and you have the option to be the good in the world,” she said. “Once you start actually living by that, everything falls into place.”
LaPaglia added, “In 2026, I want you to choose you. … I promise you, good things will come your way.”
