Bella Hadid brought the frost to Aspen.
The model, 29, was spotted on the streets of the celebrity ski town with her hair dyed an icy shade of platinum blond.
Hadid was photographed out and about with friends, including Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader, as both spent the holiday week in the Colorado mountains.
The freshly lightened ‘do matched Hadid’s plush fur coat — a sensible choice for the 20-degree weather — and she capped off the cozy ensemble with the Wild Places Hat ($30) by Texan outdoors brand Poncho.
The Orebella founder kept warm in Ugg’s knee-high Classic Tall Boots ($220) and a paisley cashmere scarf by sister Gigi Hadid’s Guest in Residence brand, which Bella tied around her quilted red leather Chanel expandable tote bag.
Hadid’s hair has run the gamut of brunette and blond shades over the course of her career, but since May, she’s been sporting a highlighted honey hue that her hairstylist, Jacob Schwartz, dubbed “supermodel blond.”
He chose the shade for its “glossy, healthy finish that perfectly captures the essence of French Riviera luxury and Bella’s off-duty model aesthetic,” he told Page Six at the time.
Her new color has a noticeably cooler tone and may be her lightest look yet, save for the various white-blond wigs she’s sported for modeling gigs.
More often than not, she’s played the brunette sister to Gigi’s blond — though in 2018, she told Allure that she naturally has lighter hair of the two.
“I just have a darker personality. And my sister being blond and me being brunette, it’s a good separation,” she explained. “I put a blond wig on and think it would be fun to go back but I’m happy with my hair. Blondes are so angelic. My sister can get away with anything.”
In 2022, Bella first experimented with an “Aspen blond” shade — a golden hue created by colorist Jenna Perry — which she debuted at her sister’s Guest in Residence pop-up shop in the same ski town.
Her latest platinum iteration takes the concept to new heights.
