Amber Rose has thrown her support behind Nicki Minaj following the Anaconda rapper’s controversial appearance at Turning Point USA.
Minaj, 43, officially came out as a Donald Trump supporter at the glitzy MAGA conference this week, while Rose herself pledged her allegiance to Trump at the 2024 Republican National Convention.
Speaking to TMZ about Minaj’s move to MAGA, OnlyFans star Rose said that her longtime friend did ‘an amazing job’ speaking with Erica Kirk at the conservative event.
‘We live in a free country. She has the right to her own political opinion, just like everyone else does,’ said Rose, 42.
The former video vixen also defended Minaj against backlash she’d received from her LGBTQ fans over her support of Trump and her comments on transgenderism.

‘She didn’t say anything wrong. She didn’t say anything about the LGBTQ+ community at all,’ stressed Rose.
‘Why does anybody think that anybody over there [in the Trump administration] is homophobic? I’m not homophobic. My assistant has been with me for eleven years, he’s black and gay,’ she continued.
‘I have a bunch of trans friends. So does Nicki. I don’t know why people twist our words or think that because we endorse Trump that we just hate gay people and trans people. It’s just not true.’
It comes after Minaj suffered an embarrassing gaffe in front of Erika Kirk as she attempted to praise JD Vance as an ‘assassin’ at Turning Point USA’s AmFest on Sunday.
The singer, real name Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, put her head in her hands as she used the poor choice of words while speaking with Charlie Kirk’s widow.
The moment came as Kirk asked Minaj what her message is to young men, and she warned them not to be like ‘New-scum’ – an insult on California Governor Gavin Newsom.
‘Young men, you have amazing role models like our handsome dashing president,’ Minaj continued.
‘And you have amazing role models like the assassin JD Vance, our vice president.’

The singer appeared to quickly realize she used the word ‘assassin’ in front of the widow whose husband was assassinated in September, and paused with her head down.
As some in the crowd began to laugh, Kirk quickly let Minaj off the hook as she stepped in and said: ‘Trust me, there is nothing new under the sun that I have not heard. So you’re fine… You let it roll right off your back.’
The moment came after Minaj heaped praise on President Trump in her sit-down with Kirk, receiving huge cheers as she said: ‘I have the utmost respect and admiration for our President.’
‘I don’t know if he even knows this, but he has given so many people hope… This administration is full of people with heart and soul and they make me proud,’ she added.
Kirk noted that Minaj’s flub would likely go viral, as she said she didn’t care ‘if the internet wants to clip it.’
‘I love this woman. She’s an amazing woman. She has a soul and a heart for the Lord. And words are words, but I know her heart and it doesn’t even matter. And you say what you wanna say because I know your heart,’ she added.
