Alyssa Milano has made sharing make-up free selfies a birthday tradition since 2020 when she turned 48.
Now the former Charmed star has done it again, posting an au naturel image on Instagram to celebrate her 53rd milestone.
‘My annual birthday selfie. No filter,’ Milano wrote in the caption alongside a close-up snap of her clean and naked face.
However, the mother-of-two, who is wed to CAA agent David Bugliari, did admit to getting regular injections of Botox and filler and a semi-permanent makeup procedure for the eyebrows.
‘No make up (just microbladed eye brows and whatever is left from my last round of Botox and filler),’ she insisted, adding, ‘This is 53.’
Milano – who shared she was removing her breast implants in a September post – went on to say she’d written a poem and that her birthday wish was ‘to elect more women into office,’ while asking followers to make a ‘small donation to @emergeamerica.’

The social media share comes less than three months after Milano announced on Instagram she has had her breast implants removed to ‘let go of the body that was sexualized and abused.’
The outspoken actress – who has been a proponent of the #MeToo movement since 2017 amid early allegations of sexual abuse against Harvey Weinstein – shared a photo of herself in a hospital gown, and explained that she originally saw her breast augmentation as ‘necessary for [her] to be attractive.’
She wrote on Instagram: ‘Today I’m releasing those false narratives, the parts of me that were never actually parts of me.
‘I’m letting go of the body that was sexualized, that was abused, that I believed was necessary for me to be attractive; to be loved; to be successful; to be happy.
‘And in doing so, I hope I am releasing my daughter Bella from ever feeling those same unhealthy demands.’
Milano – who didn’t reveal when she got the implants in the first place – has daughter Elizabella, 11, and son Milo, 14, with her talent agent husband, with whom she celebrated 16 years of marriage in August.
The Who’s the Boss alum pointed out that while some people ‘find freedom and beauty’ in getting breast implants it’s not the case for her.
She continued: ‘Now, I want to be clear that many women will find freedom and beauty in choosing their implants.

‘What is a false narrative for me may be the exact right thing for them, and I am so happy that we can all find our femininity and peace on our own terms.
‘I’m also tremendously inspired by women like Michelle Visage who have been open and public about their relationships with their breast implants, making it easier for me and countless others to find our own way.’
As she prepared to undergo the surgery, Milano was excited to be her ‘authentic self.’
‘Today I am loved, I am feminine, I am attractive, and I am successful. None of that is because of my implants,’ she added.
