Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha was visibly irked when she took to social media to put forth her frustration and angst over her flight which was delayed by 6 hours. Irked with the delay, she hit out at national carrier Air India. She had put out a strongly worded post to express her thoughts, but was later deleted. On Tuesday (December 16), Sonakshi had put out an Instagram story from the airport. As evident from the post, she said that her early morning flight was scheduled for 5am. But it was delayed by several hours sans any explanation. As mentioned in her post, she reached the airport at 4 am to catch a 5 am flight. Unfortunately, the flight was postponed repeatedly and eventually scheduled for11 am.
“Absolutely HATE you @airindia. Been at the airport since 4 am to catch a 5 am flight which has been pushed to 11 am hour by hour for NO DAMN REASON. National carrier it seems. Do better,” she posted along with a photo from the airport.
Soon after the post was published, the actress deleted the story.
Sonakshi Sinha completed 15 years in Bollywood recently. She made her debut with Dabangg opposite Salman Khan. She played the demure yet strong character in the film. The movie also features Arbaaz Khan, Vinod Khanna, Sonu Sood, Mahie Gill, Mahesh Manjrekar and Om Puri in key roles.
In an earlier interview with NDTV, Sonakshi revealed that her husband, Zaheer Iqbal, hasn’t watched Dabangg yet. She said, “Zaheer, at that point when we met, he had not actually seen Dabangg. One second. Zaheer, have you watched Dabangg? You’ve still not seen it? He’s still not seen it. Shame on you. He’s saying Dabangg is the only Salman Khan film he has not watched, but he attended the premiere.”
The actress was last seen in Jatadhara. The Telugu movie also features Sudheer Babu, Divya Khosla Kumar, Shilpa Shirodkar, Pradeep Rawat, Rajiv Kanakala, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Indira Krishnan, Srinivas Avasarala and Jhansi in key roles. The movie has been directed by Venkat Kalyan and produced by Prerna Arora, Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, Nikhil Nanda, Umesh Bansal, Ujjwal Anand, Rajiv Agarwal. It is slated to be released in theatres on November 7, 2025. The movie was released in theatres in Hindi and Telugu languages. The film had a box office collection of Rs 5.65 crore and Rs 7.25 crore worldwide.
