Tara Reid claimed she was drugged at a Chicago hotel bar after video surfaced of her being taken out on a stretcher Sunday morning.
In the video obtained by TMZ, a group of people could be seen attempting to place the nearly unconscious “American Pie” actress into a wheelchair.
Reid, who wore a tan fur coat and had disheveled hair, had her arm wrapped around a man as her face was buried into his shoulder.
When the group was able to get her into the wheelchair, Reid began mumbling incoherent words as her head loosely swayed.
“Come on, guys,” the “Sharknado” star said to the men as she remained stagnant in the wheelchair.
When one man began pushing Reid through the hotel lobby, her entire body went limp and her midriff was exposed as she fell halfway out of the mobile chair.
Several people had to help lift Reid back into the wheelchair.
The video then cut to show a group of paramedics leading Reid through the hotel lobby as she lay on a stretcher. TMZ reported that she was taken to a nearby hospital.
In a statement to TMZ, the “American Reunion” actress said she checked into her room late Saturday and went downstairs to grab a drink at the bar.
Once she ordered the beverage, Reid said she ran into a group of YouTubers in the lobby when she went to smoke a cigarette and one of them joined her in the smoke session.
When Reid returned to the bar, she told TMZ that her drink was covered by a napkin that she did not place there.
Reid told the outlet that after she removed the napkin and consumed the drink, the next thing she recalled was being in the hospital.
She later told TMZ Live, “Without finishing my drink, I just passed out. Before I knew it, I was at the hospital, eight hours later. It’s really scary… You have to really be careful with your drink. [The hospital] said, ‘You got drugged last night at the bar.’”
While Reid has had past issues with substance abuse, she told TMZ that she only had one drink Sunday night.
The outlet reported that a police report has not yet been filed, but the actress is considering contacting authorities.
Page Six has reached out to Reid’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.
