Hats off to Kate Middleton.
In a new video released by Kensington Palace, the Princess of Wales, 43, bundled up in a statement-making baker boy cap as she spoke about the importance of being outdoors.
A must-have piece in the early aughts, the baker boy hat has been revived in 2025 thanks to other celebrity endorsements from the likes of Keke Palmer and Kendall Jenner.
Middleton’s is a green tweed style that appears to be from House of Braur, per a fan site.
“I find it a very spiritual and very intense emotional reconnection I suppose, these environments,” Middleton said in the clip.
“Not everyone has that same relationship perhaps with nature, but it is so therefore meaningful for me as a place to balance and find a sort of sense of peace and reconnection in what is otherwise a very busy world,” she added.
Joined by young Scouts in the U.K.’s Lake District, Middleton paired the hat with an Emilia Wickstead turtleneck sweater ($755), G-Star cargo skinny pants ($130) — a silhouette she’s never abandoned — and Berghaus hiking boots.
The royal completed her look with a coordinating Bella Hoskyns bomber jacket ($509) — the same coat she wore in the family’s viral Mother’s Day photo last year.
Eagle-eyed followers noticed the photo had been edited, with everything from a missing wrist to blurry hair.
Middleton shared a statement on her and Prince William’s joint Instagram account. “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing.”
She added, “I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused.”
