Wendy Williams was spotted dancing at an Midtown East power eatery on Friday night, as the former talk show host battles to get out of her legal guardianship.
Spies told Page Six that Williams — who was also recently seen at Manhattan hot spots Michael’s and Il Cantinori — was “in great spirits” at Fresco by Scotto.
A spy exclusively said that Williams “walked into the restaurant with friends and family around 8 p.m. wearing a bright red coat.”
That’s when “everyone’s head turned to check out” the star, who apparently “looked great!”
The famed restaurant’s co-owner and “Good Day New York” anchor, Rosanna Scotto, “was the ultimate hostess as she went from table to table,” said a spy, greeting patrons including Geraldo Rivera, Food Network star Katie Lee and Jonathan “Foodgod” Cheban.
The source related: “Just when you thought it was winding down, Wendy jumped out of her seat and started dancing with a man celebrating his birthday. The entire dining room began chanting, ‘Go Wendy! Go Wendy!’ ”
Social media posts from the night showed Williams — sitting in a banquette with Scotto, former “Good Day New York” reporter Baruch Shemtov and Williams’ niece, Alex Finnie — smiling in front of a dessert with sparklers.
Page Six previously reported that Williams was seen Thursday having dinner at Il Cantinori by Washington Square with a group that included former CNN anchor Don Lemon, his husband, Tim Malone, and Finnie. Alec and Hilaria Baldwin popped by Williams’ table that night.
Last week, Williams appeared in court before Judge Lisa Sokoloff in a fiery session regarding her guardianship case. She also met with star lawyer Joe Tacopina, who told Page Six: “She wants her dignity back. She deserves it. She’s handling it all with class.”
