Let’s face it, polka dots are back and here to stay.
Polka dots boomed in 2024, from Jennifer Lawrence rocking the print at the Oscars in March to a handful of stars, including Eddie Redmayne, Ariana Grande and more, sporting the trend at the Annual Academy Museum Gala in October.
Lawrence looked stellar at the Grammys while wearing a black Dior A-line gown featuring white speckles. For glamorous good measure, the No Hard Feelings actress wore a diamond necklace and matching bracelet.
Months later, Redmayne leaned into the Dalmatian look at the Academy Museum Gala, donning a spotted Valentino blazer. He paired the jacket with a white dress shirt featuring black buttons and straight pants Grande also joined the polka dot movement at the gala, looking timeless in a custom Balmain gown.
And the trend shows no sign of slowing down, as It Girls from Olivia Rodrigo to Zoe Saldaña have, ahem, been spotted in the playful print.
