On Tuesday evening, Selena Gomez, 32, and fiancé Benny Blanco, 37, stepped out for a date night in New York City, sporting opposite outfits.
The “Only Murders in the Building” actress kept things polished and understated in an all-black ensemble, opting for a tailored suit and a complementing top with a low neckline.
Gomez add some character to the otherwise low-key outfit by way of a Schiaparelli Face bag ($9,252), embellished with rhinestone-encrusted hammered gold brass for the eyes, nose and lip.
The music producer, on the other hand, went in a more playful, experimental direction with his look, wearing a colorful embroidered linen top, cow-print pants and black cowboy boots.
He finished his date-night getup with a handful of gold necklaces.
The couple, who announced their engagement via Instagram in December, have previously stepped out together in mismatched looks — a trend in Hollywood favored by Justin and Hailey Bieber, as well as Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet.
At a Grammys afterparty last year, Gomez and Blanco’s outfits couldn’t have been more different.
The Rare Beauty founder wowed in a multicolor sequin minidress underneath a black coat, whereas her now-fiancé made a bold statement in a bright crochet matching set and white Birkenstock slides.

Blanco proposed to Gomez with a marquise-shaped diamond ring after she gave very specific instructions about what design she might like.
He even revealed that she changed her mind about side stones, which he’s kept to turn into earrings for his soon-to-be wife.
