The South Korean actor Kim Soo-Hyun continues to make headlines for his ongoing controversy with his alleged girlfriend late Kim Sae-Ron. The controversy kicked off when Kim Soo-Hyun alleged that he dated the late actress Kim Sae-Ron since the time she was a minor. However, Kim Soo-Hyun’s agency Gold Medalist denied the claims and stated they had been together for only a year. Meanwhile, Kim Soo-Hyun’s agency has also requested a private meeting with Kim Sae-Ron’s family, who had earlier demanded a public apology.
Amid the ongoing controversy, an Indian blogger has reportedly been getting threats from the agency, Gold Medalist. An influencer, whose Instagram handle goes by the name, “@ckdramaboy” shared a series of screenshots from a legal mail from Kim Soo-Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist. However, the agency asked the blogger to remove the content that featured unauthorised usage of the actor’s images. The blogger admitted that it was used to maintain transparency and added that his K-drama fan page was at the risk of being taken down. The influencer further mentioned that he would continue to fight for the justice of Kim Sae-Ron’s demise.
The Queen of Tears actor’s agency has issued a statement wherein they denied Kim Sae-Ron and Kim Soo-Hyun’s 6-year-long relationship and stated that they were together for a year. The agency also asked Kim Sae-Ron’s mother to have a private meeting. Kim Sae-Ron’s father, through the Garosero Research Institute YouTube channel, revealed that the actor’s agency has been continuously trying to be in contact with them and stressed that they tried to contact them on Monday.
Kim Sae-Ron’s father had also shared the messages and calls from Gold Medalist, which left the netizens furious. They had questioned the agency’s action towards the family in this tough time and stressed on the fact that none of the agency’s representatives were present at the funeral.
The grieving family released another statement on March 16, wherein they, as a reply to Gold Medalist’s previous, statement, said that no one had informed the actress that the ‘certified mail’ from them was part for a legal procedure, which left her confused. Additionally, when she tried to contact the company representatives, they remained unresponsive. Kim Sae-Ron’s father mentioned that the recent statement from the agency appears to have been written by a top-tier legal counsellor.
