During his pre-birthday celebration with the media this week, superstar Aamir Khan made a big revelation about his personal life. The superstar revealed that he has been dating Gauri Spratt for quite some time. Even though they have known each other for the past 25 years, they have been dating for the past 18 months. It led everyone to wonder, how did he manage to keep it a secret, especially from his family? Well, the superstar has now answered the same.
As reported by News18, during his pre-birthday event, Aamir Khan joked, “Dekha kuch bhi pata nahi chalne diya maine tum logo ko (See, I did not let you get wind of this). She lives in Bangalore, or lived there till recently. So, I would fly down to meet her, and the media scrutiny is less there. So we stayed under the radar.”
But how did his family never find out? To this, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor reacted, “Mere ghar pe focus thoda kam hai. Aap log miss kar dete ho (The focus is not as much on my house). You guys miss things.” Khan stated that he is quite secure in his relationship with Gauri Spratt. Hence, he decided to make it public recently.
“We are committed now, and we felt we were secure enough in each other to tell you guys. And this is better; I won’t have to hide things now,” the superstar added. Aamir also revealed that his family, including his ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, have also met Gauri.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir will be next seen in RS Prasanna’s Sitaare Zameen Par. Also starring Genelia Dsouza, the film is expected to hit theatres in the second half of 2025.
