The show has featured awesome actors like Shabir Ahluwalia, Sriti Jha, Krishna Kaul, Mugdha Chapekar, Abrar Qazi, and Rachi Sharma, who’ve all taken center stage in three different, yet equally captivating stories. Characters like Abhi, Pragya, Purvi, and the rest have seriously stolen the show and won our hearts.
Now, the new story of the show has begun. The story of Prarthana and Raunak has started. People are already loving it and one of the reasons is the new lead actress of the show, Pranali Rathod. Yes, Pranali is seen as Prarthana. She has a huge fan following ever since she did Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
She was loved as Akshara in the show and since then, fans have been waiting to see her on-screen. She also did Durga with Aashay Mishra. Now, she is the lead of Kumkum Bhagya. She has been cast opposite Akshay Bindra in the serial. Pranali is one of the most talked about in entertainment news and TV news.
It is a Gujarati character and is very different from what she has done before. Pranali has been working a lot on her Gujarati accent. She wants to look as real as possible and hence is trying to get every detail well. Pranali spoke about how she has been preparing for her role and the challenges she is facing.
She said, “I am happy to take on the role of Prarthana, even though she is quite different from who I am in real life. Every new character brings a fresh challenge and I love immersing myself. Since the storyline revolves around a Gujarati family, I have been trying to understand and learn the language and accent from senior actors on set during breaks or in between scene shoots. Their guidance has been incredibly helpful, and I am diligently practicing and acing the Gujarati accent to ensure I do complete justice to the role.
