It has been over two months since Karan Veer Mehra won Bigg Boss 18. The actor left behind Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal to win the Salman Khan-hosted show. As a winner, Karan was rewarded Rs 50 lakh as the prize money. However, a few weeks ago, Mehra revealed that he has not received the prize money yet. Recently, Karan gave a major update on the same.
In an interview, Karan was asked if he finally received his Rs 50 lakh prize money for winning Bigg Boss 18. The actor revealed, “Yes, the process is in place, but the love that I received is way bigger than any prize award. I am extremely thankful and overwhelmed about it.”
In the same interview, Karan Veer Mehra was asked about the hate messages he received along with the praises. Did it affect him? The actor told Hindustan Times, “I am negativity proof. I can’t do anything about changing people’s thoughts, but I work and keep fit. That makes me stable and positive.”
After winning Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 and Bigg Boss 18, fans can’t wait to know what is next for Karan. When asked about his next project, the actor revealed, “I am flooded with offers and opportunities. But my next step is important: I have to surprise my fans with something big. So, wait and watch.” Mehra was also asked about dating rumours with co-contestant Chum Darang. About such speculations, KVM stated how they will always be there. Both Chum and he are currently occupied with work and future commitments.
