Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been witnessing major ups and downs in their upcoming episodes. In the last episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan welcomes Manish, Swarna, and Surekha. Abhira was surprised to see them at her place. Armaan urges her to stay calm after seeing Abhira in stress. Swarna confronts Abhira as she questions why she never returned to the Goenka house. While Surekha wonders why Abhira continues to struggle when she could live a comfortable life with her family. She holds Armaan responsible for Abhira’s struggles and also blames him for making her life difficult. Armaan overhears the conversation and acknowledges that Abhira’s challenges are due to his presence in her life. He then tells Abhira to return to the Goenkas if she wishes to.
Abhira gets shocked and is taken aback by his suggestion. She asks if he has gotten tired of her and wants her to leave. Swarna gets moved by Abhira’s situation and decides to extend her support. Abhira wants to protect Armaan’s dignity and stands by him. On the other hand, Charu learns that Armaan and Abhira have left the Poddar house and want to reach out to them. But, Kaveri does not allow anyone to meet Armaan. Meanwhile, Manish empathizes with Armaan’s situation and says that Poddars has lost him. Abhira appreciates Manish’s understanding. Manish gives Abhira Akshara’s pen and tells her to shape her own destiny. Suddenly, Armaan receives a call for a job interview. Shivani comes home and asks Abhira about the same. Abhira tells her that Manish had to leave in a hurry and assures that he will return soon. Shivani decides to prepare upma for Armaan and Abhira says that he does not like it. Armaan wants his mother to be happy and agrees to eat it. Shivani notices his hesitation and tells him she will not be happy if he forcefully eats it.
Kaveri on the other hand says that Armaan will soon realise his mistake and come back to the Poddar house. Charu and Rohit then inform Kaveri that contractors are refusing to renew their agreements without Armaan. Later, Abhira misses Akshara. Kaveri refuses to welcome Abhir and Kiara and Ruhi says that she invited them for a post-wedding ritual.
