Actress Samridhii Shukla, who is seen playing the role of Abhira in Rajan Shahi’s popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recently suffered a slight burn on the sets of the show during a cooking scene. During an interview with India Forums, the actress got candid as she spoke about the entire incident that happened.
While filming an upcoming sequence, Abhira will be seen preparing Armaan’s favorite food on the occasion of their first meeting anniversary. The actress had to actually cook kachoris and a kitchen set up for the same was done by the makers. The preparation for the cooking sequence was already done, the actress had to slip in the kachoris in hot oil. During the same, oil spilled on the actress’ hand and Samridhii took a step back. She did suffer a slight burn on her forehand.
She said, “I did, matlab thoda ek splash aaya tha kyunki mujhe garam tel mein kuch bhi talne ka jyda koi experience hai nahi. Main bahut silver spoon child hoon I think. Mummy papa ne mujhe kabhi jyda mehnat karne nahi di, toh us chakkar mein thoda hogaya tha but it is all safe now.”
Talking about the storyline, Armaan and Abhira moved out from the Poddar house and are trying to stay separately. The two are seen adjusting to their new life. Armaan learned the truth about his biological mother Shivani.
Samridhii even spoke about her happiness on Abhira-Armaan’s reunion track. She spoke to India Forums and said, “There is a lot of love coming our way and I think it was much awaited because people did not want to see Abhimaan separated. So I think it is finally Armaan and Abhira against the calamity, against the problems, against the hardships of life. So we are atleast not pitted against each other but in the same team, so it is nice to do these kind of scenes.” Will Abhira and Armaan reunite with the Poddars for holi.
