In the recent episodes, we saw Gaurav landed in the black apron challenge. The unsafe contestants were given the over night cooking challenge. Gaurav had to use confit cooking technique to prepare a dish. For the unversed, confit is a French cooking technique that involves slowly cooking food in fat or oil at a low temperature to preserve it.
Gaurav made chicken using the confit method. The actor is a vegetarian and he cannot taste his dish but he still made the best chicken. Farah Khan tasted the dish and said that this was the best chicken she had until now in this journey.

Apart from Gaurav, the show has celebrities like Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli, Dipika Kakar, Archana Gautam, Usha Nadkarni, Rajiv Adatia, Kabita Singh, Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu, Abhijeet Sawant, Ayesha Jhulka and Chandan Prabhakar. Chandan, Abhijeet and Ayesha have been eliminated. In the recent episode, Archana got eliminated but the judges announced that there will not be any eviction this week.
