Daisy Edgar-Jones steadies herself against a tree as she makes an animated exit from boozy Gucci party

Daisy Edgar-Jones put on animated display as she exited Gucci’s afterparty during Milan Fashion Week. 

The British actress, 26, who enjoyed a boozy night with a host of A-list stars following the fashion show, waved at photographers and leant on a tree as she headed to her waiting car. 

The Normal People star looked incredible as she put on a very leggy display in a black long-sleeved mini dress. 

The stylish ensemble featured  front pockets, a floral print, and a sequin embellishment all over. 

Daisy added height to her frame with a pair of knee-high black leather boots and toted her essentials in a Gucci Jackie small shoulder bag which retails for £2,820. 

To complete her look, the beauty sported a pair of sheer black tights and styled her brown tresses in a voluminous blowout. 

The star was also seen being escorted to her cab by a male companion. 

Also seen leaving the party were Sam Nivola and his girlfriend Iris Apatow. 

The pair looked more loved-up than ever as they put on a cosy display, resting on each other’s shoulders as they waited for their car to arrive.

Meanwhile, actress Yara Shahidi turned heads as she left the event wearing a cherry red leather jacket and blue wide-leg jeans. 

Jessica Chastain also made an appearance and appeared in high spirits as she flashed a smile towards the camera 

Julia Garner looked effortlessly chic at the bash as she sported a cropped black double-breasted blazer, matching trousers, and a stylish floral print head scarf 

Actor and filmmaker Dev Patel cut a smart figure in a burgundy blazer and tailored trousers as he was pictured departing the venue. 

Meanwhile, Pixie Geldof’s husband George Barnett cut a stylish figure in a brown leather biker jacket and black tailored trousers as he left the party 

The event comes after Daisy’s Twister co-star Glen Powell recently revealed that a steamy scene was cut from the movie.

The hunky actor, 35 — who was recently caught ‘flirting all night’ with Gracie Abrams — told Screen Rant last month that executive producer Steven Spielberg pulled his kissing scene with co-star Daisy because it was ‘too cliché.’

Fans were devastated to find out that the two leads never kiss, especially because it would have given the film a happy ending.

‘I’m taking it very personally,’ Glen quipped. 

‘I’m sure you’ve seen the behind-the-scenes, where I did get to kiss Daisy Edgar-Jones, which really is all that counts. [Laughs] We had a great time, and I’m really proud of the movie,’ he explained to the outlet.

The Top Gun: Maverick star said that fans’ response to the scene being cut ‘shows that people care, which is really great.’

He continued: ‘I just love how excited people have gotten about that movie, and Daisy and I send each other the TikToks and the gifs. There’s so much funny stuff coming out of it. It’s fun. 

‘That’s what summer movies are about. It creates this conversation and cultural moment, and people dress up and do the thing. It’s been really awesome. So, kiss or no kiss, everybody’s a winner,’ he said.
