An influencer who has spent almost $90,000 on plastic surgery to become the ‘perfect woman’ has admitted she can no longer recognise herself in old photos.

Janaina Prazeres tells Daily Mail she has purged her social media of old photos because she feels disconnected from her pre-surgery appearance.

But the buxom blonde, 36, insists it isn’t because she feels embarrassed or regretful about the extensive amount of work she’s had done.

‘It’s not about erasing history; it’s about updating the archive,’ she explains.

‘I’ve changed physically and emotionally, and those photos belonged to a chapter I’m no longer living.’

Janaina, who hails from Brazil, says her social media accounts are a ‘public portfolio’ of her self-image, and shouldn’t display the person she used to be.

‘Your social profile is a form of storytelling,’ she says.

‘I want people to encounter the woman I am now, not a timeline that no longer reflects my reality.’

Janaina has undergone more than twenty plastic surgery procedures over recent years, totalling more than US$60,000 (AU$85,879).

These include HD liposuction, multiple rhinoplasties, silicone implants, facial and gluteal bioplasty, and even rib removal.

She says the physical transformation naturally reshaped her emotional landscape as well, adding that her confidence skyrocketed as she became unrecognisable.

‘My body changed. My face changed. My confidence changed,’ she says.

‘After so many transformations, I didn’t recognise myself in those older photos anymore. Today, I prefer to show the version of myself that I’ve fully embraced.’

Before her numerous surgeries, Janaina had the appearance of a pretty young brunette with a wider nose, slimmer lips and a fuller chin.

Nowadays, she has adopted a buxom blonde aesthetic, opting for perfectly parallel features, very full lips, and a sculpted jawline.

Janaina’s not the only one who can no longer recognise herself, as she has also previously run into issues on dating apps and with airport customs.

She once made headlines for being kicked off online dating sites because she was so beautiful the algorithm thought she was a fake profile created by AI.

Janaina, who was dubbed the ‘world’s most perfect woman’ by Playboy Norway, says she realised she ‘was living between versions’ of herself.

‘The woman I was, the woman AI identified, and the woman I actually feel like today.’

Last year, Janaina also struggled to get through airport customs while flying from Brazil to the US because she looked nothing like her passport photo.

She was ‘questioned’ by immigration control staff who detained her for 40 minutes after they were left ‘confused’ by her passport photo.

Janaina says she was left embarrassed by the ordeal when she had to prove her identity, and immediately had her passport photo changed when she returned home.
