Off Campus has already been renewed for season 2 — but not every cast member is coming back to the show.
Based on the book series by Elle Kennedy, the show, which premiered in May 2026, follows an elite ice hockey team — and the women in their lives — as they “grapple with love, heartbreak, and self-discovery — forging deep friendships and enduring bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood,” read the official synopsis.
Season 1 is centered around the “sexy and fun ‘opposites attract’ romance between quiet songwriter, Hannah, and Briar University’s all-star hockey athlete, Garrett.” (In addition to. Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli, the show introduces characters played by Mika Abdalla, Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Josh Heuston and Stephen Kalyn as well.)
With each season being based on a different love story in the Briar U universe, it probably comes as no surprise that not every character will be featured prominently every season. Creator Louisa Levy confirmed one season 2 absence but keep scrolling for a full breakdown of who is — and isn’t — returning:
Ella Bright
Bright confirmed to Us that the plan is for them to be “sticking” around before Cameli added, “We’re excited to see what season 2 holds for [us].”
Belmont Cameli
“I totally understand your concern,” Cameli exclusively told Us about each season of the Prime Video show being focused on a different fictional couple. “We will be along for the ride the whole time.”
Mika Abdalla
If not season 2, Abdalla’s character Allie will be the lead of season 3.
Stephen Thomas Kalyn
Kalyn’s character Dean is going to take center stage in the future — and will be featured often as a result.
With his own book in the mix, Brooks is returning as Tucker in future seasons of the hit Prime Video show.
Antonio Cipriano
Cipriano’s character Logan is expected to take center stage either in season 2 — or season 3.
Josh Heuston
Levy confirmed in May 2026 that Justin wouldn’t appear in season 2, telling TV Guide, “Not next season, but I love Josh and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point.”
She continued: “We never got a chance to meet Stella, who is the person he ends up with in the book. So maybe we’ll find a way to fold him into a future season.”
Levy noted that it wasn’t always the plan for Justin to be absent. “We don’t have him [available] next season, but never say never,” she added.
Steve Howey
While Garrett is still being featured in the show, it remains unclear whether Howey will be involved.
India Fowler
Logan’s love interest, Grace, was cast in anticipation of a season 2 introduction.
