Singapore doesn’t wait for a Munich invitation. Oktoberfest 2026 is shaping up to be one of the city’s more committed iterations of the annual tradition with venues across the island rolling out beer tents, oompah bands, and pork knuckles from September through October.
The range this year is genuinely broad: A 20-year-old German restaurant chain marking its own anniversary, a country club ballroom with a full German buffet, an after-hours waterpark takeover, a sold-out tented affair with a 260kg whole-ox rotisserie, and a free-entry hawker takeover fuelled by Weissbier.

Erdinger Oktoberfest @ Lau Pa Sat
The most distinctly Singaporean entry on this list: Erdinger doesn’t set up in a bier hall but under the Victorian ironwork of Lau Pa Sat and it’s free to get in.
The world’s largest family-owned wheat beer brewery takes over the Raffles Quay hawker centre across two weekends (Sept 18–19 and 25–26), where you can chase a plate of char kway teow with Erdinger Weissbier on draught and call it a cultural experience.
Each night opens with barmaids weaving through the crowd to the New Stream Brass Band, distributing 50 complimentary pints before a mass “Prost!” brings the house together.
From there: Games (Pretzel Toss, Stein Slide, the always-punishing Stein Holding Challenge), live trivia with metre-long beer trays as prizes, and roaming Style Spotters handing out merch to the best-dressed. The party continues islandwide at partner bars through October.

Brotzeit
This year, Brotzeit’s Oktoberfest carries a little extra weight: the German bier restaurant is marking 20 years in Singapore, and it’s not letting the occasion pass quietly. Running from Sept 1 to Oct 25 across its outlets, the season opens with a proper party at VivoCity on Sept 3 with DJ Maverick, live dancers, and the ceremonial first barrel tap of the year.
From there, the calendar fills out with oompah bands, family brunches complete with bouncy castles, a Grand Oktoberfest Buffet on Oct 4, and a Grand Finale party on Oct 24.
Over at Brotzeit CBD, weekday promotions and a Wednesday Ladies’ Night keep things going for the after-work crowd. The pour of choice is the season-exclusive Weihenstephaner Festbier (from 0.3L to a 3L barrel), and the Oktoberfest Platter ($158, four to six pax) comes with pork knuckle, crispy pork belly, smoked sausages, bread dumplings, hearty chilli & cheese meatloaf, key ingredients air-flown from Europe, is the table to order.

Swiss Club Singapore
Switzerland meets Bavaria in what has become Singapore’s biggest and most enduring Oktoberfest. The Swiss Club’s 27th edition runs Sept 13 – 20, and if you need proof of its reputation, the main party nights (Sept 16 – 19) have already sold out.
The remaining events, however, are still very much on. The Community Event on Sept 13 ($40, halal-certified buffet included) opens the season on an inclusive note, with proceeds supporting the Club’s community partners.
Then Frühschoppen Sunday on Sept 20 wraps things up the right way: A daytime family brunch ($50 adults, $30 children aged 6–12), a bouncy castle, live bubble show, and the award-winning Musikkapelle Partenkirchen brass band, flown in direct from Munich.
For those lucky enough to have secured main-event tickets, the draw is a 2,800 sqm air-conditioned tent, Paulaner Münchner Hell and Weißbier on tap, and a whole-ox rotisserie tipping the scales at around 260 kilograms.

Adventure Cove Waterpark, Resorts World Sentosa
Bavarian beer hall meets tropical waterpark, only in Singapore. On Sept 25 and 26, Resorts World Sentosa transforms Adventure Cove Waterpark into an Oktoberfest festival ground after the sun goes down, running from 6.30pm to 9pm.
The centrepiece is The Grand Bier Hall, where a free-flow buffet of Bavarian-inspired dishes anchors the evening alongside live music, sing-alongs, darts and beer pong.
Venture further into Festival Square for pretzel decorating workshops, a beer appreciation session at Brewer’s Corner, and the King of Hammer challenge (exactly what it sounds like). For those with something to prove,
The Great Bavarian Challenge pits participants head-to-head in Stein Hoisting and Beer Drinking contests. The night winds down at Beer Beats by the Pool with DJs, live acts, and one collective closing Prost! before the waterpark calls time.

Serangoon Gardens Country Club
Tucked away in the north of the island, Serangoon Gardens Country Club brings Oktoberfest indoors and does it properly. The Kensington Ballroom is dressed for the occasion on Oct 9, with live entertainment from Uberjam setting the pace from 7pm.
The German spread covers the bases: Roast pork knuckle at the carving station, grilled veal bratwurst with garlic gravy, Bavarian hunter’s beef stew, and a dessert spread that includes warm apple strudel and Black Forest gateau.
Paulaner flows alongside a collaboration with Johnnie Walker and The Singleton, giving whisky drinkers a reason to show up too. It’s a members’ club, but guests are welcome and if you’re planning ahead, the early bird pricing (before Sept 14) makes the decision easier.
One glass of Paulaner is included with every ticket. Early access from 6pm if you want a head start on the dance floor.
