It was meant to be a sweet first birthday celebration but quickly became the talk of the town among society gossips.
Bridgett Roccisano, the co-founder of wildly successful breast tape brand Booby Tape, got tongues wagging after unveiling a $14,000-plus gift haul for her one-year-old daughter Elle – a display of luxury that’s already being described in some circles as ‘jaw-dropping’ and in others as ‘deeply out of touch.’
The multimillionaire entrepreneur took to social media on Thursday to share a glimpse of her little girl’s eye-watering gifts, which included a toddler-sized pink Land Rover, worth around $300.
The tiny vehicle was unveiled in dramatic fashion at a Melbourne dealership, with footage showing a friend pulling back a silk sheet and red ribbon as little Elle looked on.
‘I can’t,’ Bridgett captioned the moment, before sharing another clip of a salesperson handing over a set of miniature car keys.
The keys were attached to an Hermès horse-shaped key chain, which retails for around $2000.

Bridgett also shared a clip of Elle zipping around the dealership car park in the remote-controlled automobile, adding the caption: ‘Elle’s first car! Elle has officially joined the Land Rover family!’
But it was the final gift that truly raised eyebrows – a diamond ‘E’ pendant necklace said to be worth a staggering $12,000.
To mark Elle’s first birthday, Bridgett threw a lavish dinner party at her home, complete with pink decorations, an elaborate cake and a five-course menu.
And while the social media clips painted a picture of pure luxury, insiders say the reaction behind closed doors has been far less glowing.
‘It’s all a bit tone-deaf, to be honest,’ one well-connected insider said.
‘People are really feeling the pinch at the moment, and then you see a one-year-old gifted a diamond necklace worth more than most people’s annual rent.’
Another society figure didn’t hold back, adding: ‘There’s always been wealth in those circles, but lately it’s becoming more about showing it off than anything else. It just feels like an unseemly display given the cost-of-living crisis.’
The insider suggested the spectacle was ‘less about the child and more about the image,’ saying: ‘No one is denying she’s successful, but there’s a growing sense that this kind of flaunting isn’t landing the way it once did.’

Still, others defended the businesswoman – who co-founded Booby Tape with her sister Bianca – insisting she has every right to spend her money how she pleases.
Bridgett is a single mother, having split from her husband of just two years, Joshua Cavallaro, just months after they welcomed their first child, Elle, in April 2025.
In August last year, Daily Mail exclusively revealed that Bridget had told close confidants she was ‘heartbroken’ and felt ‘totally blindsided’.
‘It’s not what she wanted. She’s absolutely devastated,’ said our source.
‘She is going through very tough times at the moment, but being surrounded by family is helping. Every day, a little bit gets better.’
Bridgett, whose breast tape brand is stocked in more than 40 countries worldwide, took to social media in July last year confirm news reports she had separated from Joshua.
‘I’ve always chosen to be open and honest with you all and with recent articles and speculation surrounding my marriage, I felt it was important to address this with you all,’ she wrote.
‘I am saddened to confirm I am going through a separation.

‘This year has brought more change than I could have ever imagined. Becoming a mother has been the most profound and beautiful gift of my life.
‘While I am devastated and disappointed the journey hasn’t unfolded the way I envisioned, as family is everything to me, I’ve discovered a strength within myself that I never knew existed for both my daughter and I.
‘Elle and I may be walking a different path now, but it’s one filled with support and most importantly, stability and love.’
She concluded: ‘While I wish I could share more about this extremely difficult time, I need to protect Elle, especially knowing my daughter may read this one day.
‘I hope you can understand and respect our privacy during this incredibly challenging time.’
Days later, the businesswoman shared a heartfelt thank-you to her followers.
‘I just wanted to take a moment as I wish I could respond to every message that has come through. To say thank you to everyone who has reached out to me during this incredibly difficult time,’ she began.
Bridgett split from her husband of just two years, Joshua Cavallaro, in August 2025
‘Elle and I may be walking a different path now, but it’s one filled with support and most importantly, stability and love,’ Bridgett said at the time of the split
‘Your kind words, messages and support have meant more than I can put into words. It’s truly been so incredibly overwhelming.
‘Even in the hardest moments, knowing I’m not alone at a time where it’s very easily felt has made all the difference.
‘I’m so grateful to have such thoughtful, genuine and most importantly loving people around me.’
The estranged couple, who first met in high school, married at St Patrick’s Cathedral in April 2023, with the wedding covered exclusively by the Daily Mail.
