Dressed in black, Victoria Beckham and her best friend Tana Ramsay might have appeared sombre as they came together for a girls’ night out on Tuesday.

In fact, despite dining at one of London’s finest restaurants, Dorian in Notting Hill, the women failed to even crack a smile as Victoria, 51, stepped out while her husband David was away filming a crisps commercial in Los Angeles.

But friends of the pair say that in fact they put their recent family troubles aside to have a ‘really fun night’ away from their partners – and the feuds that have engulfed both of them in recent months.

While Victoria and David, 50., are heartbroken that their eldest son Brooklyn, 27, refuses to speak to them despite father and son both spending time at the Beverly Hills hotel in recent days, Tana, also 51, is struggling to deal with the aftermath of the fall out from her son-in-law Adam Peaty’s rift with his mother.

Also present at the dinner was another of Tana and Victoria’s best friends, dance teacher Jo Manoukian.

‘Victoria and Tana definitely had a lot to talk about,’ says a source.

‘But while they have been hugely supportive to one another for a quarter of century, they also love to have fun, they always have a lot of fun when they’re out together.

‘There are always lots of laughs, what they do best is put smiles on one another’s faces. Tana knows exactly what Victoria has been through with Brooklyn, she has been at her side throughout it all.

‘Her heart breaks for her bestie but Tana is the ultimate peacemaker but they have a 25-year friendship under their belts, they have so much in common, the kids are the same age and they know one another inside out.

They’ve seen and heard just about all you can imagine when it comes to kids and fall outs.

‘But they wanted to let their hair down, they meet regularly. Victoria loves going to Dorian, she loves the food and the atmosphere.’

Indeed, the former Spice Girl named one of her bestselling clutch bags after the restaurant two years ago. She and David are regulars at the venue which is less than mile from their £25million home in Holland Park.

A source close to the family previously told Daily Mail: ‘Victoria absolutely loves Dorian. She loves the menu and the ambiance.

She, David and the children go there for all kinds of occasions but also just for a low-key dinner.

‘It’s their favourite. There is also a space usually saved for them to park outside if they drive there.’

Dorian is Victoria’s favourite restaurant and she visits the venue so often that there is a parking space reserved for her – she named one of her handbags after the Michelin-starred eatery

Tana and dance teacher Jo have been friends with Victoria for 25 years

Victoria previously dined there with her son Brooklyn, 27, and his wife Nicola Peltz, 31, while the couple were visiting London from LA and before their big falling out.

The family members are currently estranged and David and Victoria haven’t spoken to Brooklyn since last May, when he and Nicola snubbed David’s 50th birthday celebrations.

David, 50, and Victoria were left bewildered on Tuesday when they learned that Brooklyn had been at the same hotel in Los Angeles as David, who was there filming an advert for Lays crisps – one of the biggest sponsors of the forthcoming World Cup which kicks off in June in the US, Canada and Mexico.

David and Brooklyn, narrowly missed one another on Monday morning and Monday evening as David spent two nights there while his son had been sunbathing by the pool on the same day.

Father and son haven’t spoken since last spring when the influencer and his wife Nicola Peltz snubbed the former England captain’s 50th birthday celebrations.

Brooklyn and Nicola’s lawyers wrote to the Beckhams’ legal team demanding that they only converse through them.

Shortly before Christmas, Brooklyn blocked his parents on Instagram and in January he posted a brutal, bombshell six-page letter on the social media platform.

He claimed Sir David and Victoria controlled him for most of his life, tried to split him and Nicola up and left him embarrassed when his mother danced ‘inappropriately’ with him during his first dance at his wedding.

She denies her son’s allegations.

Meanwhile, yesterday the Ramsay/Peaty family feud was reignited when Olympic swimmer Adam’s sister Bethany spoke out about the family fall out almost three months after he married Holly Ramsay.

Bethany, who has been accused of betraying her mother Caroline, told the Daily Mail yesterday that it has been a ‘very difficult time’, adding, ‘I’m caught right in the middle of the row.

‘But I’ve made up with mum really for the children. They adore her and she is a great grandma and a good mum.’
