Actor who started off with SRK
The actor we are talking about also trained under coach Barry John in New Delhi. We all know Shah Rukh Khan also took his training under Barry. So does he feel bitter that SRK is such a big star today? Well, the answer is now. So who exactly are we talking about? It’s Manoj Bajpayee. Manoj and SRK worked together in the 2004 film Veer-Zaara.

Recently, the versatile actor was asked if he is bitter about SRK’s stardom, considering they started out together. Manok revealed that the Jawan star always wanted to be loved and to be a star. He stated that Khan always wanted to be the centre of attention, which wasn’t his target.
Further in this entertainment news, Manoj Bajpayee also said that he was completely okay with not being surrounded by 20 people in his theatre group. “I was completely okay with nobody looking at me. I was completely okay with being a fly on the wall,” said the actor. But does this difference of stardom between him and Shah Rukh Khan affect his confidence? The Aligarh star stated that confidence breaks after failure, not because SRK is more popular than he is.”

In the same interview with Barkha Dutt on Mojo Story, the Gangs of Wasseypur star was asked if he and SRK were contemporaries. Manoj responded that they knew each other but had different friend circles. Bajpayee stated that he and Khan come from different worlds and they don’t meet as they can’t meet. “Even back then, he belonged to a ‘khas duniya’. Just because one studies in Jamia doesn’t make them a regular person. I wasn’t surrounded by 10 people at all times. Shah Rukh was always a charming guy; he was always surrounded by people,” said Bajpayee.
