In the wake of New York and London’s biggest runways, we chatted with superstar stylists about what looks are really worth investing in this year — and how to try each in an actually affordable way.
From dessert-inspired dressing to pastel perfection, read on for the colors, patterns and silhouettes destined to define 2025.
Make it mocha mousse
Stars and stylists have a sweet spot for Pantone’s 2025 Color of the Year, Mocha Mousse. Eric Archibald, the stylist behind some of Megan Thee Stallion’s most show-stopping looks, tells Page Six Style he’s loving the “rich, warm hue” this winter.
And Wouri Vice, whose clients include H.E.R. and Issa Rae, is on the same page, telling us the sartorial shade of the year “is definitely mocha.”

Embrace flared denim
Ready to add some flair (er, flare) to your wardrobe? Bootcut denim’s having a major moment right now, from Kendrick Lamar’s viral Super Bowl jeans to Meghan Markle’s Veronica Beard flares.
“Denim remains a staple — especially with the resurgence of bohemian-inspired bell-bottom silhouettes,” says Archibald, who recommends teaming the style with a “retro band tee” from Daydreamer or a Free People lace top. (We like the Julie Knit Top and From The Start Mockneck).
Vice is similarly embracing dressed-down looks with his celebrity clients this year, telling us “Bruce Springsteen is the icon for me.”
Adds the stylist, “There are so many other things that are happening in the world, that I’m not upset with just casual day-to-day wear and making it fabulous,” he adds.

Play with pastels
Barbie summer may be over, but Hollywood’s still thinking pink. Vice and Archibald both predict pastels will have a major moment this year — a phenomenon the latter links to the “ballerina-core movement.”
“What I love most about these trends is their versatility,” he adds. “Whether you prefer to dress them up or keep it casual, there are endless ways to make them your own. A light pink piece can be paired with a wrap cardigan or a striped cami for a soft, elegant look.”

Try tailored pieces
Return to office, but make it fashion. Citing Saint Laurent and LaQuan Smith’s high-end runway shows, Archibald predicts sharp tailoring and the “structured, polished aesthetic” will make a “strong comeback” in 2025.
“There’s been a lot of resurgence of architectural factions,” Vice echoes.

Dabble with dots
Seeing spots in Hollywood? You’re not alone. Vice is heralding the return of patterned pieces in 2025, following a proliferation of polka-dotted designs on red carpets and runways.
“Dare I say that the return of fashion is actually here, because it kind of got a little boring for a little while,” he laughs. “What comes from [high fashion] trickles into the streets, so I think we’re getting a lot of that type of feeling coming back.”
When it comes to styling the look yourself, he advises mixing multiple patterns, from dots to houndstooth to gingham. (“Not being tied down to the way that something should look, but just giving it an expression,” he explains.)

“I’m also excited to embrace the elevated athleisure trend,” says Archibald. “My clients love showing off their bodies in a fun, stylish way, and brands like Miu Miu and Adidas are redefining athletic wear to be both fashionable and flattering.”
