Sydney Sweeney’s romance with music exec Scooter Braun is “still going strong.”
“It’s a very casual, laid-back relationship,” an insider exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now. “Sydney is not looking to settle down right now. She has been hesitant to get into another serious relationship but is enjoying her time with him.”
Sweeney, 28, played coy about Braun, 44, in her January Cosmopolitan cover story, telling the outlet, “I’m still figuring out love, and it’s hard to do that with millions of people who have their own opinions of what that looks like.” The insider tells Us, however, “Sydney and Scooter are still going strong.”
With two major movies (The Housemaid and Christy) and her controversial American Eagle ad, the actress’ love life wasn’t the only thing making headlines last year.

“Sydney is still navigating this era and feels like she has been really misunderstood,” the insider tells Us. “She’s been in a better headspace in the last month, but had a hard time with all the recent backlash.”
That being said, Sweeney is looking forward to the future with her new lingerie line, Syrn, and the support of Braun.
“She’s really excited about the line and has been pouring her heart and soul into it. It means a lot to her to have the inclusivity in the space,” the insider adds. “Scooter loves that she has a business mindset and is very driven.”
The pair first sparked romance rumors in June 2025 when they were spotted walking around Italy prior to Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding following Sweeney’s split from fiancé Jonathan Davino. (Sweeney dated film producer Davino for years before getting engaged in 2022 and calling it quits in 2025.)
Throughout the fall, Sweeney and Braun were spotted on several public dates throughout Los Angeles and New York City, and by October 2025, an inside source told Us that they were “dating and it has become more serious.”
“Still not putting a label on it, but Sydney has been having a lot of fun with Scooter. It has been low-pressure for both of them and has been a different relationship for Sydney. Scooter has introduced her to new perspectives, especially when it comes to business,” the insider explained at the time, adding that Braun opened her “eyes to opportunities and ways of thinking she hadn’t considered before.”
The following month, another source told Us of the pair: “Neither of them expected it to turn into something serious at first and are surprised by how genuine the connection has become.”
The Euphoria actress also opened up about her past relationship with Davino in her Cosmo interview.
“I was in a relationship for a very long time, for seven and a half years, and I never talked about it. I was very private. No one would ever see us,” she told the outlet. “It’s hard deciding that I want to experience love in the public eye. I’m just navigating it all.”
She then went on to describe her “type.”
“Athletic and outgoing and funny. I’m a sporty girl, so someone needs to be able to climb a mountain with me, go skydiving with me. And someone who loves their family. I love myself a man,” she said. “I am a boss in my life. I take control. I go after what I want. I am confident, and I am successful, and I don’t actually need a man. I’ve got myself. I’ve got an incredible group of girlfriends. … There was a guy who I really, really liked, but he told me he can’t handle my world. It’s a hard thing.”
As for Braun, the businessman was married to Yael Cohen Braun — with whom he shares children Jagger, Levi and Hart — from 2014 to 2021. They finalized their divorce in September 2022, agreeing on joint legal custody of their children.
