Stacey Solomon was overwhelmed with emotion as she celebrated her daughter Rose’s final day at nursery on Friday.
The TV star, 36, took to Instagram to mark the big day as she filmed herself flicking through a memory book of the four-year-old’s time at nursery.
She penned: ‘The end of an era. Looking through Rose’s last 3 years at nursery is actually heartbreaking.’
As well as Rose’s final day, it was also her niece Mila’s last day of primary school.
And as the star marked the next chapter she took the opportunity to praise teachers as she thanked them for ‘raising my babies with me’.
In a lengthy post she wrote: ‘What a day. Watched Rose’s graduation to Primary. Saw my niece finish primary ready for secondary. Said goodbye to some very special teachers.

‘Just a little message to say… cuddles to all the parents & carers entering into new beginnings. And just a huge thank you and I can’t even begin to describe the appreciation & admiration I have for learning staff.

‘Helping us shape our humans ready for the world. Hope you get a rest over the summer. To the moon and back.’
Stacey isn’t the only one feeling emotional at this time of year, after Rebecca Adlington also took to social media earlier this week to mark her daughter Summer’s last day of primary.
The Olympic swimmer, 37, shares Summer, 11, with her ex-husband Harry Needs, as well as son Albie, four, and daughter Thea, four months, with her now husband Andy Parsons.
And taking to Instagram on Thursday the mother urged people to check on parents who have children leaving primary school as she revealed she had been crying all week.
Sharing a photo of Summer on her first and last day of primary school she penned: ‘To anyone who knows anyone with kids leaving primary school… check on them. They are not ok.
‘I’ve been crying for about a week but this mornings end of year assembly just topped it all off.’
