A smiling Brooklyn Beckham whisked his wife Nicola Peltz off for dinner in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, a week after he publicly denounced his family.
The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, 26, looked very happy with himself as he held hands with the actress, 31, at Japanese restaurant Matsuhisa.
Brooklyn severed all ties with his family in his scathing six-page statement, where he said he has no wishes to reconcile with his parents and called them ‘controlling and manipulative’.
It certainly looked like a weight had been lifted off Brooklyn’s shoulders, after he revealed he had ‘stayed silent for years’ on Brand Beckham.
The couple, who fled in the midst of the furore to $2,595 a night hotel, the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, put on a loved-up and united display as they made one of their first public outings.
Dressed in a white shirt, jeans and a light brown jacket, Brooklyn cut a casual figure alongside Nicola, who looked stylish in a black halterneck top, indigo jeans and towering heeled stiletto boots.

The couple’s outing comes after they shared their devotion towards one another in a series of Instagram posts, where they documented their luxury stay.
Brooklyn shared some pictures from the wine cellar of the five star hotel, including one of the world’s finest, and most expensive dessert wines, worth £17,000 a bottle.
It is not known if the Peltz-Beckhams bought the 1831 Château d’Yquem or the 1811 vintage next to it, which last sold at auction in 2012 for around £75,000.
Although if reports of Nicola’s £1million-a-month allowance from her billionaire father are to be believed, they could no doubt afford both.
Whatever they drank, the couple put on a show of unity – and romance – with a new set of Instagram photos of their stay at San Ysidro.
As well as a number of images from dinner, Nicola was also shown lying in bed and walking the grounds with their dog, Lamb. Foodie Brooklyn also shared pictures of the impressive kitchen garden allotment.
More than 5,600 miles away in Paris, Brooklyn’s parents David, 50, and Victoria, 51, and siblings Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14, have put on their own show of unity at Haute Couture Fashion Week.
Victoria won the prestigious Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters and praised her family just a week after her eldest son said he will never ‘reconcile’ with his family, especially after the treatment of his wife and rows over their wedding.

The award recognises the individual contributions of artists, writers, and cultural figures to the arts and literature, and previous recipients include Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Jude Law and Denis Villeneuve.
And in her acceptance speech, the Spice Girl made a special mention to her children, as she thanked them for ‘always believing in my vision’, despite Brooklyn’s recent vitriolic claims against her.
The addition of Victoria’s name to the Order of Arts and Letters will be the latest significant family event to be snubbed by Brooklyn, whose recent statement confirmed any residual ties with his family have been severed.
The influencer had previously skipped his father’s milestone 50th birthday celebration and the London launch of his mother’s Netflix show.
Perhaps more significantly, both he and Nicola were absent as David – accompanied by Victoria, his own parents and three remaining children – travelled to Windsor Castle for his long awaited investiture on November 4.
The family have maintained a stoic silence since Brooklyn released a damning statement in which he outlined his reasons for cutting ties with his family.
The influencer went as far as to say he has been ‘controlled by a family that values public promotion above all else’ and that since being with his wife Nicola, he has found ‘peace and relief’ after battling crippling anxiety.

He wrote: ‘I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private.
‘Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.
‘I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.
‘For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.
‘The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.
‘Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.’
He continued: ‘My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.
‘My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress.
‘Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children.
‘They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated.
‘My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since.’
In a further blow, he added: ‘During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me ‘evil’ because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola’s Naunni at our table, because they both didn’t have their husbands.
‘Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours.
‘The night before our wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was ‘not blood’ and ‘not family’.
‘Since the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, I’ve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.
‘Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last summer.
‘My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song.
‘In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.
‘She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.
‘We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.
‘My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one.
‘My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable.
‘Despite this, we still travelled to London for my dad’s birthday and were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him.
‘He refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner.
‘When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn’t invited. It was a slap in the face. Later, when my family travelled to LA, they refused to see me at all.
‘My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first.
‘Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations.
‘We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show ‘our perfect family.
‘But the one time my wife asked for my mum’s support to save displaced dogs during the LA fires, my mum refused.
‘The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life.
‘I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.
‘I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief.
‘My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.’
Meanwhile, Rebecca Loos has laid into Victoria in a new documentary about the family’s explosive feud, claiming that their son Brooklyn’s statement is ‘validation’ for her own claims
Rebecca also reflected on Brooklyn’s claims that Victoria ‘hijacked’ his first dance with Nicola at his wedding in 2022
Meanwhile, Rebecca Loos has laid into Victoria in a new documentary about the family’s explosive feud, claiming that their son Brooklyn’s statement is ‘validation for what she said 22 years ago’.
David’s former PA, 48, previously claimed to have had an affair with the married footballer in 2004, which he has repeatedly denied.
In a clip from the documentary, The Beckham Feud: Truth and Lies, Rebecca claimed she found herself at the centre of a ‘PR war’ after her accusations, which echoes the sentiments of Brooklyn’s statement, where he claimed much of his life was full of ‘performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships.’
Brooklyn severed all ties with his family in a bombshell six-page statement last week, where he revealed he has no wishes to reconcile with them, and called his parents ‘controlling and manipulative’.
In the 90-minute special, which airs on Sunday, Rebecca also weighs in on Brooklyn’s claims that Victoria danced ‘inappropriately’ with him at his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz, saying ‘any other mother would have read the room’ and declined to dance in the situation.
The star, who now lives in Norway with her husband, had previously vowed on social media that ‘the truth always comes out’ after Brooklyn released his statement, again mirroring his words where he wrote: ‘I believe the truth always comes out.’
She said: ‘Suddenly you’re part of a big PR war. In a very small way, this is of course validation for what I said and came forward and said 22 years ago.
‘Brooklyn is basically confirming inauthentic relationships, value of promotion, endorsements above all else, and that it’s all focused on brand Beckham, and that that’s all that matters.’
Rebecca also reflected on Brooklyn’s claims that Victoria ‘hijacked’ his first dance with Nicola at his wedding in 2022, after Marc Anthony branded the designer ‘the most beautiful woman in the room.’
She says: ‘Whether it came from her or whether it was Marc Anthony is beside the point because it shows a lack of awareness for other people’s feelings.
‘I think any other mother would’ve read the room and understood this is awkward and probably said, thank you for the compliment, but the most beautiful woman in the room is Nicola, Nicola, please take this dance.
‘Or at least if the mother had had a few too many glasses of wine and was unable to read the room, maybe the husband or the father would then have maybe stepped in and maybe grabbed Nicola, twirled her around and then swap partners to let her have the dance.’
