Local cosplayer-actress Rurusama has bought herself a new crib, she announced in an Instagram post on Saturday (Sept 5).
The 27-year-old captioned: “Homeowner era. I’m so scared. Will make videos about renovations and home shopping… but please give me advice, I’m honestly more anxious than excited.”
In another post on the same day, Rurusama gave a pre-renovation tour of the three-bedroom condominium unit, adding that she had fallen in love with the apartment at first sight.
She said: “It’s going to be a complete gutted renovation so… I’m going to need to choose floors and tiles and counters or something right?”
The living room’s squarish layout was one of the main reasons she bought the apartment, she said, while revealing plans to knock down one of the bedrooms to create a larger living area.
As for the master bedroom, the new homeowner said that she really wants to fit in a king-sized bed, adding that she wants an upgrade from her current queen-sized one.
She also envisions RGB lighting for the toilet.
The video content creator added that she needs a dedicated space for her personal computer too and is thinking of a ‘L’-shaped setup in one of the rooms.
Local celebrities and content creators, including actress Bonnie Loo, content creator Mayiduo and Malaysian influencer-businessman Chai Chang Yong, congratulated her in the comments.
Local actor Benjamin Tan joked, “I can sleep in the DB box cabinet,” while DJ and online personality Jade Rasif asked for a house tour.
Earlier in May, Rurusama appeared in King Kong Media Production’s microdrama My Girlfriend is an Alien (2026), where she played an extraterrestrial named Layla.
The project, released in late March, marked her third acting role after microdrama Love in Transit (2025) and Chinese New Year comedy-film Luck My Life (2026), which was also her first movie role.
