Rihanna is turning heads on the cover of Elle Magazine’s September 2026 issue.

The singer wears nothing but a branded “Dior” headband for the fall fashion issue of the publication, leaning against a plywood box with her hands framing her face.

The feather piece was part of Jonathan Anderson’s cruise 2027 collection, created in partnership Philip Treacy, and Rih is among the first to wear the fascinator.

A Dior High Jewelry ring adds a bit of sparkle to her finger in the shot, while the Fenty Beauty founder’s face appears almost bare of makeup, her eyebrows bleached a soft color that blends with her skin.

Photographed by Inez and Vinoodh and styled by Jahleel Weaver, Rihanna exclusively wears Dior for the entire shoot as she was named the muse for the fashion brand’s latest perfume.

The Dior J’Adore Intense scent was created as an “ode to her” and “based on an image of an unfettered, liberated young woman, who dares to embrace the world with clarity and genius,” per Elle.

Looks include a pale blue satin gown with faux floral accents, a black bustier dress accented by pearl buttons traveling down the side and a chunky marled-knit cape, wrapped around her body.

Rihanna has already proven her love of a Dior topper.

In January, she swiped a floral couture headpiece right off the runway, the first to be seen in the botanical style at the brand’s after-party immediately following Anderson’s debut collection.

And, in April, she chose a different architectural chapeau from the design house, holding baby girl Rocki Irish on the cover of W Magazine.

In 2015, Rihanna was named an ambassador for Dior — the first black ambassador in the design house’s history.

A fully multi-hyphenate celebrity, Rihanna is described by writer Roxane Gay in the cover story as someone who “seems to live in her body unapologetically, and she does so with confidence and verve,” adding, “instead of making herself smaller or living in her body according to the whims of a fickle and ever-changing audience, she lives in her body on her own terms.”

And everyone wants to smell like her, too.
