For most Singaporeans, Formula One arrives in a burst of activity around Marina Bay each September.

But ahead of this year’s race weekend, Singapore GP is once again bringing some of that atmosphere into the heartlands through the return of its #RevUpSG watch party series.

Now in its fifth edition, the community initiative will see live Formula One screenings and fan activities held across three locations from August to September 2026, giving residents a chance to immerse themselves in the sport before the Formula One Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026 gets underway.

The series begins at Bedok Town Square on Aug 22 to 23 with screenings of the Formula One Heineken Dutch Grand Prix, before moving to HDB Hub in Toa Payoh on Sept 12 and 13 for the Formula One Gran Premio de Espana.

The final stop will be Kampung Admiralty on Sept 25 and 26, where fans can catch the Azerbaijan Grand Prix just days before Singapore hosts the world’s fastest racing series.

The concept reflects how Formula One’s local audience has evolved over the years.

What was once largely a race-weekend spectacle has developed into a year-round fan community, with watch parties becoming gathering points for enthusiasts who want to enjoy the sport together rather than from home.

Beyond the race broadcasts, visitors can try racing simulators, test their motorsport knowledge through trivia sessions, and even experience what it feels like to commentate on a Formula 1 race at a dedicated beIN Sports Asia booth.

There will also be previews of official 2026 Singapore Grand Prix merchandise and opportunities to win prizes including Thursday Pit Lane Experience tickets, F1 Exhibition passes, Lego sets, and merchandise vouchers.

The organisers are also encouraging fans to take part in a trio of community-driven activities: Bring Your Own Car, Card, and Chair.

Visitors can enter model cars into a “Ready, Set, Race!” challenge, submit postcards addressed to their favourite Formula One drivers, or simply bring along foldable chairs and settle in for the live screenings.

A notable addition this year is the sale of limited community-priced tickets for the Singapore Grand Prix.

Available exclusively at the Bedok event on Aug 23, 1,000 Friday Zone 4 Walkabout and Friday Stamford Grandstand tickets will be offered to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.

With less than two months remaining before the lights go out at Marina Bay, the #RevUpSG series serves as an early start to race season, allowing fans to connect with the sport long before the cars arrive on the streets of Singapore.
