Rebel Wilson was branded “abusive” and accused of leaking a nude photo of Charlotte MacInnes in her explosive defamation court battle with the “Deb” actress.
MacInnes made the shocking allegation last Friday when she and Wilson, 46, appeared in a Sydney court for the defamation case, according to the Sun.
The “North Shore” actress reportedly claimed in a sworn statement that Wilson hired someone to hack her Snapchat account three days after MacInnes filed her defamation lawsuit against the “Pitch Perfect” star in September 2025.
The hack allegedly resulted in a nude photo of MacInnes, which she had taken and shared with her boyfriend, being sent to all her phone contacts on Sept. 28, 2025.
“It was completely terrifying and caused me a new kind of anxiety,” MacInnes, 27, alleged in her sworn statement. “I was not myself for some time after.”
MacInnes’ boyfriend, Carlo Boumouglbay, also weighed in and claimed his girlfriend was “fearful” because she thought Wilson was “monitoring her at all times.”
“She was fearful for her safety and felt vulnerable,” Boumouglbay said, per the Sun. “Rebel’s posts were really getting to her and breaking her down.”
Wilson, however, denied the allegation that she hacked MacInnes’ Snapchat and leaked a nude photo of the actress to all her contacts.
“That is absolutely an outrageous statement to make in court, that I moonlight as a hacker,” the “Bridesmaid” star, who directed and also co-starred in “The Deb” with MacInnes, replied.
Elsewhere during the pair’s explosive court battle, MacInnes accused Wilson of hiring a public relations organization called the Agency Group to smear “The Deb” producer Amanda Ghost and her husband, Gregor Cameron, in August 2024.
Although Wilson was said to have denied employing the Agency Group, it was revealed that her former lawyer had reportedly made a written agreement stating Wilson agreed to pay the firm $25,000 per month.
One Agency Group staffer also described Wilson as “f–king nuts” following a heated exchange with the “Jojo Rabbit” actress, per the Sun.
Wilson’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
MacInnes sued Wilson for defamation in September 2025 over allegations that the “Isn’t It Romantic” star damaged her character by alleging she was sexually harassed by Ghost and then accusing the pair of colluding to cover it up.
The alleged sexual harassment was reportedly connected to an incident in 2023 when MacInnes and Ghost bathed together following a swim at Bondi Beach.
Wilson claimed that MacInnes told her she was uncomfortable during the bathing incident and alleged that MacInnes withdrew her complaint after Ghost offered her career opportunities.
“The central issue for determination in this case is this: whether Ms. MacInnes reported to Ms. Wilson that she’d been asked by Ms. Ghost to shower and bathe with her and whether she said it made it feel uncomfortable and whether she later changed her story,” the comedian’s lawyer, Dauid Sibtain, said during the nine-day trial.
Wilson, meanwhile, is also facing a defamation lawsuit from “Deb” producers Ghost, Cameron and Vince Holden because the comedian alleged they embezzled funds from the musical comedy and had “inappropriate behavior” on set.
