Game Changer starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani is a political action thriller that had released in cinemas on January 10. Shankar’s latest film is struggling at the box office and turning out to be a disaster. The movie has been facing tough competition from Nandamuri Balakrishna’s action thriller Daaku Maharaaj and Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vasthunam, both of which are drawing significant attention from the viewers.
Daaku Maharaj was released on January 12 and Sankranthiki Vasthunam hit theatres on January 14. Both films have been successful in grabbing the viewers’ attention with their engaging plot. The makers of Game Changers were recently accused of allegedly inflating their box office numbers. The opening day figures were reportedly Rs 186 crore gross worldwide and as per trade portals including Sacnilk, Game Changer had earned Rs 86 crore gross worldwide on its first day. The movie has witnessed 35% at the box office from the previous day and earned Rs 10.19 crore at the box office.

Day 1: 54 crore
Day 2: 22 crore
Day 3: 18.8 crore
Day 4: 7.85 crore
Day 5: 10.19 crore
Day 6: 6.61 crore
Total: 119.45 crore
Day 2 earnings were around Rs 21.6 crore, while on the third day it collected Rs 15.9 crore. On day four, Game Changer collected Rs 7.65 crore and saw a sharp decline in its weekdays. The film’s pirated version was allegedly aired on a local TV channel and shown on buses. Producer Sreenivas Kumar demanded strict action on it. The makers of the film had filed a complaint against individuals for allegedly leaking the film online.
The film has also been released in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Game Changer is directed by Shankar and also stars SJ Suryah.
