The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) is back and more popular than ever. The league recently broke the attendance record for the Boston Legacy FC’s home opener with more than 30,000 fans at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

How to Watch the 2026 NWSL Season Without Cable

The 2026 NWSL regular season has a mixture of broadcast and livestream matches. The league airs on CBS, ESPN, ESPN2 and ION, while select matches livestream on Prime Video, Paramount+ and ESPN Unlimited.

Moreover, networks CBS, ESPN, ESPN2 and ION are also available via web-based cable alternative services, including DireTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, Frndly TV and Sling TV — some of which offer free trials.

The cable alternative’s “Entertainment” package offers CBS, ESPN, ESPN2 and ION TV, plus more than 90 other channels, such as NBC, ABC, FOX, FOX Sports, TNT and more. Watch NWSL matches starting at $8.99 per month for the Paramount+ Essential ad-supported plan. Prime Video features select matches of the NWSL 2026 season. New subscribers can get a free 30-day trial for Prime Video; after that, it auto-renews at $8.99 per month for the standalone service. You can also access Prime Video for free with a subscription to Amazon Prime, which costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year — a nearly 25 percent savings compared to monthly billing.

How to Watch the 2026 NWSL Season With Cable

The NWSL matches broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2, CBS and ION Television in the U.S. You can watch those channels online on their respective websites by logging in with your cable TV provider account. However, games that stream on Prime Video, ESPN Unlimited, Disney+ and Paramount+ are not available on cable.
